It's funny when he says "I gave up smoking 20 years ago" yet earlier during the trip when he gets the bad news about the Italian rail strike he is clearly smoking.

When he asked the Egyptian bloke next to him if he inhales into his lungs you can see that he didn't understand him completely! Why was he coughing if he didn't inhale the shisha?

Ah Michael Palin travels - I have rented every one I can find on Netflix - favorite so far has been the trip to the Himalayas but this trip highlighted was fun to watch - filled with suspense as its not so easy to travel the way Palin likes to! Thanks!
