Agreed, that's not 90. You can approximately time the ball from release at the wheel to the time it reach the hitting zone - assuming the machine is approximately 60ft from the home plate in the cage, that is most definitely not 90mph.

He also missed 3/7 pitches in this video. Of the 4 he did contact, 2 were obvious fouls. Less than 30% success.

Yeah he's really good but you can ask pro hitters you shouldn't take BP off of high speeds, not even the pro's do. it causes bad habits like lounging and timing the pitches which means he will wiff on off speed stuff

Absolutely it's 86. There is a hitting coach from the Chicago Cubs that has seen him hit in this cage and was very impressed. What ever everyone thinks. 7 and hitting an 86 mph fastball pretty damm good.
That comment makes me laugh. We have three machines all iron mike set from 45 to the fast cage set at 86. Fourty makes me laugh. The college boys hit in this cage. And yes it's 86 not 90 but for a seven year old close enough.
