this game sucks dont buy it. the quests are boring, the combat is boring with 90% of the fight is you vs 2-3 ennemies at a time. combat gets repetitive. and camera sucks. Also it feels like im playing oblivion in 3rd person is all. MUSIC SUCKS
Im a huge RPG fan and a fan of R.A. Salv, at first glance this game didnt interest me at all, but after playing what is my 20th hour so far I am in love with this game. Sure the graphics arent "realistic" but I found a way around that and like the graphics in their own right. Any fan of RPG's will like this game. The character progression is impeccable and you really feel like you want to reach that next level. At some points you feel as tho ur god only to have ur pride dashed by some enemies..

Its more diverse and exciting, and has many details in gaming that developers think we hate but deep down we want. One of those is wow like graphics. It makes a whole new different need to play the game, not just waiting for new things, but to have a reason to explore the things that are there

well the pass is only valid for origin users...yes that is crap but this is how EA does it...and no ME3 will not be available on steam , the demo is valid only on origin (i think but I hope not but ME3 is developed by Bioware ). KOA demo was valid for Steam and Origin so it was sold trough steam and Origin , the studio that made KOA isn't EAs studio , Bioware on the other hand is and if I am not wrong the last game (KOTOR MMO) was on ORIGIN only as well as BF3 (DICE is EAs studio)
Dude, this game... I've been stuck in the ground :(, assassinated invisible foes o.o, glitched into locked cages... :/ and I still enjoy this way more than Skyrim XD. But seriously. Those were just one time bugs so far. It still can't be compared to what I've come across is Skyrim. Go Dark Souls!

unfortunatelly ME3 will be on Origin only because EA owns Bioware ........so no Steam .....I have Origin installed on my PC but when I don't play BF3 i close it and block it with a firewall and until now I never received on my mail any crap from them or other third party companies ...sad day when I've installed that crap , and not to mention most of the issues that BF3 had were because of that crap.......

she was one of the main characters in Farscape , she was Morrigan (well her voice) in DAO, used her voice in ME2, Uncharted 3,Rage, GOW 3 , Rango (animated movie) and now in ME3 and some more, She played in some STG SG1 episodes and movies...the point is she has a great voice oh yes an she is the narator here....

@DrVitoti I don't like the online passes, but it only really ticks me off if I feel shortchanged on the game. This game is 100-200 + hours long; to make a big deal about a couple of hours of quest line is over the top. You have to ask yourself does the game warrant the price tag without the online pass content. I think most of us would answer yes.
@jehosafatify It's not just the online pass, it's also the fact that they force you to install Origin, a lousy piece of PC software that is filled with spyware. And the fact that they pull monopolistic moves like not allowing steam pre-orders to have bonuses like all the other major retailers, it's them basically shoving Origin down your throat so they can monitor all you do and sell the information to marketing companies.
@DrVitoti No love for EA or Origin. I don't disagree. At least they are allowing KoA on Steam, unlike other EA titles cough cough BF3. If EA acted more like Valve, it'd be great; then again, if they did, they wouldn't be EA. So ya, fuck EA. But I, and hope other gamers, understand the "need" for online passes because of the the impact of the other devil in the game industry: Game Stop.
@jehosafatify You are right, GameStop should go die as well, And what pisses me more about EA is not the online pass, (which also annoys me because they said it was gonna be for online features and they are using it here) and if the game is on Steam is because of the studio that developed it, all games that are done by EA studios are Origin exclusicve, like BF3, but other games like Mass Effect or KoA, the devs have freedom to choose what platforms will they sell them on.
@zergapollo the sad thing is you are probably right, it's way easier to pirate than to play an original game, and there are a LOT of people that don't buy games for that sole reason.

If the actual combat (read, gameplay) is fluid & feels organic (unlike Dark Souls/Skyrim) I'm in! These new streamlined RPG's are getting better & better, for people with lives beyond just gaming.

But Demon/Dark Souls is realistic. If you are in a small hallway with a giant ass sword, you really cant do shit, because your sword hits the walls. Dark Souls actually requires talent to play, and strategy, Skyrim... is Bethesda, and crap. Comparing the two is like comparing Pong to Mortal Kombat. Different beasts

Dark Soul's = Actually hard as hell and makes you think about how to get through an area. Skyrim is just like every other Elder Scrolls Game... All you have to do is remember where you were last time+swing sword. Dark Souls requires thought. Anybody trained in tactics and sword play laughs as I do at Skyrim, and love Demon/Dark Soul's

The fighting in this game is better than skyrim's and I think the story too .....Skyrim had almost no story and 8 hours of campaign , Skyrim's power comes from it's freedom and moders , but I would prefer a good story that lasts 20 to 60 hours than free roam game that lasts 300+ hours .The best story last year was Witcher's 2 story....I hope that this game combines a good story with some freedom i would prefer if this game will have 20 hours of good story than 200 of "free roam "

Even though the game looks cool, they copied the beginning cut scene from Demon's Souls when they did this trailer. It's almost exactly the same, except the big baddy at the end of the Demon's Souls version was more bad ass.

Was that Claudia Black narrating? I She has one of the best voices for vo work. I loved her in Dragon age Origins, Mass Effect 2, Uncharted 2, and Dead Space 2. If She's doing voice over work for this game then i hope its for a Main Character. The Best RPGs have the grestest vo casting and dialoge.
Looks pretty combat-oriented. If it has character interaction & dialogue similar to Skyrim & Dragon Age, it could be a legit contender for RPG of the year.
If not, we could be looking at another God Of War clone.
I'm looking forward to this game so much! The environment and colors are taken from my imagination. I do believe this game might rival Skyrim, and even though I love skyrim, i believe it was quite poorly done. With bethesda it's usually the modders that make the game good..

You have to ask yourself does the game warrant the price tag without the online pass content. I think most of us would answer yes.

@jehosafatify It's not just the online pass, it's also the fact that they force you to install Origin, a lousy piece of PC software that is filled with spyware. And the fact that they pull monopolistic moves like not allowing steam pre-orders to have bonuses like all the other major retailers, it's them basically shoving Origin down your throat so they can monitor all you do and sell the information to marketing companies.

If EA acted more like Valve, it'd be great; then again, if they did, they wouldn't be EA. So ya, fuck EA. @jehosafatify You are right, GameStop should go die as well, And what pisses me more about EA is not the online pass, (which also annoys me because they said it was gonna be for online features and they are using it here) and if the game is on Steam is because of the studio that developed it, all games that are done by EA studios are Origin exclusicve, like BF3, but other games like Mass Effect or KoA, the devs have freedom to choose what platforms will they sell them on.

But Demon/Dark Souls is realistic. If you are in a small hallway with a giant ass sword, you really cant do shit, because your sword hits the walls. @botswanky And to top that off the guys making Reconing intend the fighting to be more like God of War-esque, as opposed to realistic, like Dark Soul's. Dark Soul's = Actually hard as hell and makes you think about how to get through an area. Skyrim is just like every other Elder Scrolls Game... All you have to do is remember where you were last time+swing sword. Dark Souls requires thought. Anybody trained in tactics and sword play laughs as I do at Skyrim, and love Demon/Dark Soul's

The fighting in this game is better than skyrim's and I think the story too .....Skyrim had almost no story and 8 hours of campaign , Skyrim's power comes from it's freedom and moders , but I would prefer a good story that lasts 20 to 60 hours than free roam game that lasts 300+ hours .The best story last year was Witcher's 2 story....I hope that this game combines a good story with some freedom i would prefer if this game will have 20 hours of good story than 200 of "free roam "

@shalhemforesh go play DnD lol. finished demo, graphics (obviously) A+, audio A+, story seems decent enough, game play/combat/controls/variety/diversity A+++, aside from some glitches in demo. the only thing i see wrong with this trailer is (to my knowledge) theres no kicking or elbows in combat, unless u can attack without an equipped weapon witch i dont think u can or somethin in SM list . I would say this game is dragon age/elder scrolls/dungeon siege rolled into 1 with a pinch of the matrix.
