Apoyo is a Lagoon, not quite a lake. It is a very beautiful eco spot, has some of the most placid warm waters all year-round and there is no undertoe or underwater currents anywhere near the shoreline. As in any other body of water, common sense will do. Do not go in the water if you can't swim nor if you've just had a strong meal or had a lot of alcohol to drink.
nope none, what u have to be careful of are the currents, ive seen people drown there because they supposely know how to swim. so if you go use proper gear
