  • Does this throw better than the Klarus XT11?

  • @joebob4501 No, the reflectors are about the same.

  • Can I use rechargeable CR123A batteries in this light?

  • @ductape95 Yes, the voltage rating is up to 8.4V.

  • @goingprepared after reading about this light on CPF and watching this vid at least 20 times this week, I'm going to pull the trigger and get it, do you have it in stock to ship and about how long would it take to get to Los Angeles? I know it says it's rated at 450 lumens but I read that it's closer to 500 with 10,000 lux @ 1m. Does that sound about right? By the way, awesome video as usual. I love watching your videos but I hate the fact that I always find something else I want...

  • @csantiago687 Yeah, they are in stock at the moment. Shipping to LA should be about 3 days. We don't test the actual output of our lights, but those specs sound about right.

  • Quick question if you could help me out... I want to mount the Turbo X on my rifle. 4seven told me that "it is not approved for recoil" and refered me back to a much more expensive light. Do you see a problem with the Turbo X being used on my AK for hunting?

  • @c131521 I wouldn't use it. The light is not made to handle recoil. Check the weapon lights section on our site if you want to see some other lights that will work.

  • Thanks for the reply. Great review!!

  • Have you experienced a green/yellow/brown tint around the hot spot with these? or other XM-L lights. I'm reluctant to play the tint lottery

  • @uonadtehrrocks You see that every now and then with pretty much any light. They still produce a lot of light, so it does not bother me. I honestly do not really pay attention to that stuff.

  • Oh ok very nice

    Thank you

  • Hey marshal,

Can you use any rechargeable batteries for this light

Cause I'm likin this one but I don't wanna use Rcrs cause I emagine the runtime would be horrible I was wondering if the body diameter was wide enough for 18650 or 17670

    Thanks alot--

  • @dodgekicksass505 18650 won't fit, but some 17670s will. The 18650 body that they have would work with this though.

  • Marshall, thanks for finally coming out with the Turbo X video review! All the more reason to order it from your website! Andy already gave me the total cost of shipping the item to my location. Thanks again. Keep the reviews coming! :)

  • I'm likin this one too

    Great video

I want this one as well lol that interface seems actually pretty easy

  • That Turbo-X is FINE for such a small light.

  • @jetpowered1 Yeah, it has impressive throw for such a compact light.

  • Thanks Marshall, always great reviews!

  • Another excellent review sir!

  • looks great, I know you like the Zebra lights, have you thought about carrying the Spark headlamps?

  • @beast12101 Yes, we will get them eventually.

  • thanks for the review. how do you think this compares to a maelstrom R5?

  • @hollowpoint45acp R5 will have better throw, but is a larger light. I personally would go for the TurboX. I like the more compact size, but it is not made to be weapon mounted or anything like that if that is important to you.

  • @goingprepared Why do you think it is not made to be weapon mounted?

  • @anthonyraz Because 4Sevens did not make it to be a weapon light. It is not made to handle the repeated recoil, although it will probably work fine for a while. Their Maelstrom G5 and X7 are weapon lights.

  • Thanks for the review. I really like that you do outdoor beam shots, that really helps. Now the hard part, what light to buy? So many to chose from, lol
