@maggiehallua I own the play, but the monologue can also be found online if you google it. but i suggest if you want to perform the monologue to read the play or a film verson first to get a better understanding of the character :)
@Carlyiswoah Hello, thanks for your comment.... The thing about Shakespeare is its been brought out by many different publishers with different versons over the years, and you'll find that some will have slight diffferences in words, but never anything big... You dont have to worry about it or anything unless your performing a shakespeare play then all the cast must have the same copy of the said play just incase :)
You're striking looking and have pretty good diction, especially as you're masking your natural accent. However, you need to get someone that has more experience acting Shakespeare to help you with the pronunciation of some of the words. You also have a habit of turning statements into questions. The line 'therefore is wingèd Cupid painted blind' at 0:45 is a statment, for example. Personally I think the speech needs a lighter, more self-deprecating touch but that IS a personal thing. Good luck.
@tvdd1973 Hello, thank you for your comment and the constructive crit. I chose to perform the piece with the questions, and I personally like it that way and I think it works well. Everyone has different views how this piece should be performed, and it could be performed in many different ways, this way fitted for me.
Your really good! It would be great if you could check out some of the monologues I have done and give me some tips! :) Thanks! :) xx

"Things base and vilde,
holding no quantity,
Loue can transpose to forme and dignity,
Loue lookes not with the eyes,
but with the minde,
And therefore is wing'd Cupid painted blinde."
Now I know what they mean when they say Angels do exist.
