@saberbazer They lack the innate desire to be stars. I use to upgrade my amp every year until I tried a VHT -Had it for 14 years it was the right tool for me.Best mixture of a Marshall and Hiwatt . Then Steve Fryette upped his game with the Deliverance and Sig X and added tones into his design that would make Bogner blush PLUS added features. Those features whether it be gain or EQ switches are relevant and effective -unlike other well known makers.Truly a real world performance amp.
Question for you, I love the woody-ness of the tone. I need that versatility, but can this really handle modern tones? Such as 3daysGrace, Shiendown, Sevendust? thanks for the video.
Man decisions, I have a Marshall JVM which i like but want a VHT pitbull, an Engl SE, a Hughes and Kettner MK2, a Mesa dual rec, and a Fender twin lol they all sound so great in their own way.
feedback and sustain go hand in hand. the sustaining note is helped by a guitars feedback and keeps the string vibrating at that level... controllable sure. but I have heard it called both feedback and sustain they are two in the same. Certain feedback is undesirable and its a part of the unwanted characteristics that guitar players hate. but if you can use it on command and as a note that is called sustain. hear the notes where usable in music and are notes on a scale that is not to brittle

i am just curious if its a camera angle or something but your lead and rhythm channel lights are purple?
mine are orange and red...was wondering if they were running out of bulbs or something as they switched to freyette or if its just the cam you used.
good vid!

Can this amp do medium gain stuff? Like Andy Timmons?
phuongdh 3 years ago
Easily. There are many ways to set up each channel.

I would say that is coming more from your presence, not sustain.

I Love the way the Higher-Pitched Notes like 'Sustain' into Feedback...that's got a real Hendrix feel to it...that's really cool...

certainly shows it has a lotta gain the only other amp that does that much is the 5150 that ive tried. the amp is pretty grainy tho IMO. Engl SE FTW
