And the irony in you saying harming children is the major sin, but in the old testement, where the majority of pasages against homosexuality also are, it states that if you child misbehaves you can stone them, and that you can sell you saughter into slavery which i would class as child abuse.

@anjelicknight1 You realise that homosexuality is not mentioned in the sins of Sodom and Gommorah, the only slight, misinterpreted, reference to it is when the people wanted to gang rape the two angels, and thats a criticism on rape not homosexuality. Plus factor in the translations of the bible, half of the words have been mis-translated such as abomination, which to the writers of the bible, most likely just meant unclean not some kind of un-natural thing.

@MidgetHumper93 PART 1 Many people have claimed that the bible has been mis translated that words have been rearanged to deceive the masses. The truth is that GOD is all powerful and all that HE has done for mankind HE would never allow his message to be lost or mis translated! Concerning the book of revelation by its self those that would add to that book or take away from the penalty is horrific, thats just one book in the bible !

Men wrote it, and then translated it again and again, the worlds have been altered and changed hundreds of times, its expected that it would be somewhat mistranslated. It's also a book of fiction mate, you make it out to be a lot more.

There are some such as child molestation and harming children MAJOR MAJOR I personally believe that hell burns hotter for certain crimes! @anjelicknight1 There are actually only 3 or 4 references to homosexuality in the bible, the rest that are usually quoted state 'sexual immorality' which could be interpreted in different ways. And the irony in you saying harming children is the major sin, but in the old testement, where the majority of pasages against homosexuality also are, it states that if you child misbehaves you can stone them, and that you can sell you saughter into slavery which i would class as child abuse.

You have all of your rights, LGBT people don't, it's pure arrogance and ignorance to state that they don't deserve their rights. @anjelicknight1 Not everyone believes in God!!! And even if they do, that doesn't mean that they think it's wrong to love the person that they love, and cannot STOP THEMSELVES from LOVING. Many developed countries are secular societies, and that means your religion can't be used to force the law on others. Period. NOBODY is forcing you or anyone else to love the same gender, and if they did it would be futile. You cannot change someone's preferences.

Would it be acceptable for us to push through a law to make it illegal to marry someone of the opposite sex? Is that okay, just because we don't love the opposite sex or think it's right, for us to take away YOUR rights in the name of our religion, even if it prevents you from marrying who you love, even when we can?

What part of, 'the same unalianable rights as the rest of society' sounds like LGBT people want special treatment? You really need to do some scientific research into this and not just blindly follow your dogmatic religious view. No one is trying to force the major religions into anything, but there is a separation of church and state, religion shouldnt interfere with law based on reason and logic

No one has made some ridiculous law that you are no longer allowed to like the opposite sex! Same sex marriage is no threat to the "majority" because the "majority" of heterosexuals outnumbers homosexuals and bisexuals, therefore you have no reason to be worried!! :)

First off, there is absolutely no conclusive proof that people are born with sexual orientations. Second of all, regardless if a person is born a certain way or not does NOT make it right. It can as well be assumed that a kleptomaniac is born with that mental disorder, so does that make stealing okay? Of course not! So again, being/not being born a certain way is not an indicator of whether it is morally or even legally acceptable.

@itsMinuteMaid Stealing takes away objects, and in some cases lives depending on the object taken and how that act is carried out. However, allowing someone to marry the person that they love does not harm one single person, therefore there is zero reason for it to be unethical or illegal. I can also guarantee you that myself and every other LGBT person I know did not choose to be LGBT, in fact--quite the contrary.

I find raisins to be incredibly disgusting, and for me, eating them is not "acceptable", but I'm not going to outlaw eating raisins! It doesn't effect you, so let people live their lives the way they were meant to live them. I could say "you didn't choose to like chocolate ice cream, and since I don't like it, it's not acceptable for you to eat it". Is it okay if I make a law based on that??

@thebiweeklyshow Regardless of how many people eat/don't eat raisins, that is not going to affect humanity as a whole. Homosexual relationships do not produce children, so that affects humanity as a whole. Furthermore, the human body was not designed for homosexual activities, especially those that homosexual males partake in. This is why anal leakage and rupturing of anal tissues is a problem associated with those sexual acts, and also more likely to transmit AIDS and other diseases/viruses.

@itsMinuteMaid There are also tuns of children that are in foster care waiting to be adopted into a permanent family!! Straight couples wiuld usually much rather have a BABY, and not adopt. Only 1 in 10 people is homosexual or bisexual, therefore the other 90% of you will still be able to maintain the world population, I guarantee it.
