Now, in the 1960's the original Fantastic Four comics had a small story in some of the issues called "Tales of the Watcher" and the Watcher bore a very striking resemblance to the Observer's, both in appearance and their "non-interference" statements. @Tigerlilly0777 Actually they're totally opposite to what you're thinking of. In The Adjustment Bureau, they were controlling destiny. Observers, however, merely observe it and are not to get involved. The only time they got involved was when September made a mistake that changed everything.
Love it, but they are not a new idea. They are from Phillip K Dick's book, "The adjustment Bureau". A movie was made of them as well, under the same name.
i think its so awesome they have observers out there on other channels in other shows... everytime i spot one it makes me smile and my hearth starts pumping :D
At this stage the only real mystery that I care about is the maning behind the green green green red. Id say the observers probably come from another side entirely unrelatted to what we have seen so far on the show and are just watching how events between the two sides play out. As for the Rogue well Ive just lost interest in hi case all together lol.
Just some of the many questions I have about fringe: What did the cylinder the rogue was after do? Why did the observer not want it in his hands? How did the rogue and zft get ahold of otherwordly technology? How do the observers travel between worlds seemlessly and aren't unstable like william bell? How come more observers aren't discovered if they are created/ raised in large underground chambers? Who created them? okay my typing fingers are tired so I'lll stop now.
The second season is concluded and from what i saw in different episodes i came to conclusion that there's a very very very deep connection between Peter and the Observers! I hope season 3 will develop this detail.
after seeing the episodes of the second season its relativey clear to me the original peter died, and walter invented the portal to the other side so he could take that peter.
that's part of the show, that those "open secrets" that are known to the viewer but not to the characters are going to come out soon.
by now we know that there is a grave with peters name on it and that the peter we know comes from the other side. count 1 and 1 together... so all that's open now is how it happened and what else happened back then.
ok just triwing this idea out there but it would be a good twist if astrid was part of something big that would totaly knock the adiece for six i mean she hasnt been that important but just think about it
oh and some one said that there was more than one of everything dosent that mean that there is more than one alternate reality :) just a few of my thoughts:)
I'm really wondering why they all have no hair...

I hope they wrap it up this season. We are dealing with Fox folks and they are...not nice. Moving shows around willy nilly, they can kill any show.
