  • Please remove the Cozad Tag as this is a Murray trailer.

  • Haha this is in saltlake city, Utah m! I see that truck and trailer often. I drive one similar to that but my trailers a bit smaller.

  • at my mumz work i saw an fucking 12 axle lowboy i couldnt take a pic cuz i didnt have my camera or fone

  • Weight carried to each end onto two four-wheel "trucks".

    How does it take curves?

    Are the "trucks" hydraulically steered?

  • @robertgift They are only hydraulically "bump" steered when empty when backing up. when loaded the rear axles just follow. Can not use the hydraulic steering for backing when loaded on this model trailer. The trailer dose pivot/steer between axles 7 and 8 (counting the truck)

Basically what it comes down to this model trailer...corners have to be taken really wide!

  • trucks got a cat 660 in it and SMOKES tires down the track!!

  • i bought that truck from anauction its now marco rentals rig.

if u need something moved call us we will be happy 2 move it.

  • nice rig

  • If the vehicle is driveable, why not just drive it to its destination?

  • I got no problem with it but do you want to get stuck behind it,for 50 miles.

  • I would not mind if it would pull over to the shoulder and let vehicles pass when needed.

For all theffort of loading and unloading, plus the additional weight of another heavy vehicle, semi+trailer, would it not be cheaper to drive it?

    Thank you.

  • In some instances yes,but when you factor in the thousands,of graders, backhoes, scrapers.you would be sharing the road with on a daily basis,I'm pretty sure the public would not be real happy about it.and good luck getting it there, the same day..thanks Robert

  • What is the maximum speed on that rig?

With suchuge wheels, I bet it would be high.

But you have a good point.

Plus it is probably not street worthy.

(Lights, turn signals, brake lights, etc.)

Years ago I moved a big piece. By the time they loaded it and unloaded it, I could have drivien it to its destination and no trucking costs.

  • I'm not sure on the speed 25,30 maybe.most of your graders and backhoes, are generally road worthy, and their have been plenty of times where I have said the exact same thing it would be quicker for them to road it.thanks Rob.

  • @robertgift why wouldnt you want a truck to drive it to it's destination, its easier

  • @379peterbilt530 For all the trouble of loading and unloading and expense, I'd rather simply drive the machine to it's destination.

  • @robertgift yeah? then people wouldnt make money

  • @308scoutefl

When it comes to heavy haul and the mention of "socal" I would stay out of the conversation if I were you.. "socal" doesnt know what 'heavy' is, and neither do you..

  • depends on the distance...

  • @robertgift It depends on the state(s) you are operating in.. This looks like California.. I dont know the rules there, but driving a machine, like a scraper, down the road would require a state permit. It would have to be a self-powered move, and probably would require escorts, and be restricted to certtain times of day.. Again it depends on the state.. Usually its best to load it on a trailer and haul it at road speed (55mph+) like in this video.

  • Wow, that is one heck of a way to load a trailer. I'm not worthy! LOL

  • I know I'm not thanks Warren

  • @truckerwarren

    its California..

  • Now that would be a fun challenging load!!! But you better be paying attention 100% of the time or you might take out a small TOWN!!!

  • thats the truth bro.

  • What a monster, you know you gotta load, when the truck pulling it can fit in the load itself 2 fold! Love it.

  • they ake the trucks look small sometimes

  • They Were In Houston 2 Weeks Ago.

  • nice

  • was that you parked in blythe on5/30, with a windmill unit?we parked our 9 axles there on the way backk from el paso.we took 2 657s out there for peed equipment. nice truck and trailer!

  • Scout ,I don't know I don't work for them but we hire them to move some of our larger equipment ,at times

  • I love seeing these trucks fo down the road.

  • it'd be scarey drivin down the road with that bugger on the back...lol

  • Man thats when you dont think abt it,thanks cheep

  • holy sh**t, now that's an big one... amazing!

  • pretty long combo,thanks stvo.

  • bet ya dont back up with that or if ya do how?

  • It would'nt be easy.

  • Thats cool, they are a pretty good outfit.

  • wat kind of dolly is that?

  • tell you the truth I'm not sure.
