Screw Law & Order: LA. This was the only L.A. crime series I loved from NBC.

Every other Law & Order was good...just not L&O: LA.

You are correct. Over the years there were some substitutions that simply did not meet the original cast productions. And when the added the "retarded" guy, it was downhill from there.

Hated L.A Law. Doesn't the secretary jest a show similar to this in Network? The Young Lawyers? "Crusty but benign." For me this and 30 something are the 'cool aid' of american television.

@PoxyBear L.A. Law did air on Thursday nights for the majority of its run but its original time slot was at 10 pm on Friday, right after Miami Vice. NBC moved L.A. Law to Thursdays in December 1986 after the network realized that the aging Hill Street Blues (another Bochco production) was not retaining the lead-in numbers of the preceding show at 9:30 - Night Court. In May 1987, Hill Street Blues would be permanently relegated to the roll call books.
