  • The new pads are amazing. I have a bunch of them from Jason and I have been testing them and pushing them to the limits on stress and heat. These are the bomb and looks like the issues with the pads are over. Great job Jason and your new system is a total home run... I know everyone is going to be stoked for years to come.

  • Yes, The original pads did not hold up as long as a lot of us had hoped, However, this issues has been addressed... Im still using some of my original pads from over a two months ago! I have still made money on each of my details. Even if I've been through two pads on one car, the amount of time I have cut off the paint correction still saved me time that I still made money! Its still faster then anything we have ever experienced! We love this system, its performing better then every expected!

  • The chemical frickin rocks... I used this product MANY times in the past 3 months... and it truely ROCKS...

THE PADS FUCKIN suck... These guys are just selling the product, because they get paid by you buying them from the website listed, but The pads FUCKIN fall apart after two uses... I went through 2 pads in one car (a 14hr paint correction detail)...

Jason Rose & Meguiar's needs to take the PADS back to the drawing board...

When they get the PADS right... Oh shit... Its a perfect system...

  • @theEXPERTDetailer Hopefully you've had a chance to use the new pads. They hold up much better than the first pads. A lot of products sometimes need the bugs worked out of them. New cars have recall issues, things under warranty still break sometimes. Its part of manufacturing. On a side note, 14 hours using any pad is quite a long time. Remember these pads mostly oscillate and do not spin like a rotary. With this being said this builds up heat, we all know heat loosens glue.

  • @detail2u

Got new pads in last week, testing now...

  • LAPD has a slush fund to pay for stuff like this with tax payers' money.

  • @NETWizzJbirk We actually did the job for free to LAPD. We were testing the new system. It wasnt yet released when this job was done. This vehicle was black, swirled and scratched from the factory. Perfect vehicle to test products on with plenty of paint to work with. Thanks for the comments though.

  • @detail2u Well, it is one, flat panel. Every detailer's dream! Although my car looks great, I despise the curves. Personally, I use #83, #80, then some wax using a G110 Dual Action Polisher... This looks easier.

  • @NETWizzJbirk This new system has a learning curve. But, once you have it down it delivers amazing results. You finish cars faster with no swirl marks guaranteed. The new pads are much better now, I have had no problems with them since they have been replaced. If that combo works for you thats awesome! In detailing its not about the newest or flashiest products. Find what works for you and delivers the results you want and stick with it!

  • @detail2u Sounds great getting a system down, but I am not a detailer in that I do only my own cars and visit the Meguiar's forum on occasion... Anyway, is this new system safe for most cars or is more agressive than it should? i.e. An '08 Mazda 3 and a '10 Honda Accord? I ask because I would not want to use #85 for instance, but #83 is just fine for my car... Does this remove a lot of paint before breaking down via some diminishing abrasive?

  • @NETWizzJbirk We have found the system is safe for most paints. We have used it on boats, cars, RV's, you name it. The only thing that was not suggested from the start was it is not good for FRESH paint. However, some paints (few and far between) do not like DA action. Also remember, this DA system does contain a compound as its first step. So if compounding is not necessary on your vehicle it may be too aggressive. You always want to use the least aggressive path to desired results.
