In my case, go to school untill 8:05am(if late, teacher will beat). We start 1st class 8:30am(50 minute class, 10minute break, lunch time 1:20pm~2:20pm, dinner time 6:10pm~6:55pm) and day schedule end 6:10pm. And most of student do 'Ya ja'(means: prep) to 9:00pm(3rd grade do this untill 11:30) It's over and over a week. And we go to school in Saturday(Only 2nd, 4th week, we don't go school. And luckily, In Saturday, we end school at 12:20). Vacation? supplementary lessons(All student) ^^

@abeurakadabeura lol I did not know that. I thought that Korean schools are like Japanese schools because the buildings and uniform are identicals. . I have seen more of a video on Korean schools in which students appeared to be in good spirits, smiling. i don't think they are having bad days. so I doubt that "all" schools in Korea the teachers beat the students. but hey, I do not know almost nothing about Korea, so this was just my opinion hehe.

A few of my cousins still do. My cousins tell me about how hard and mostly time consuming bullshit it is.
