If you only realized that in addition to Reagan, every president since has been a tool of a small handful of BIG business interests that would be progress. Also, almost everyone in the congress are shills for the same special interests(D & R). Obama crushed the Dorgan drug reimportation amendment on behalf of big pharma. Cheney gave no bid contracts to Haliburton. Walker's bill gives him authority to give no-bid unilaterally.

I'm surprised they they didn't preserve Reagan's corpse and put it on display.

She writes that White House aides "covered up his condition"-- and journalists chose not to pursue it.

Anyone else remember how he didn't mind funding an El Salvadoran dictatorship which didn't have issues with nuns being raped?     Heh, I was just a kid when Reagan was president and could never understand why so many adults seemed enamored of him. Even as a child, I could see he was nothing more than a slick pitchman who talked a lot but actually said very little.

    Since then, I've acquainted myself with the policies of his administration. If he were around today, it's fair to say many conservatives would consider him a RINO. As Dick Cheney himself said of Ronnie, "Reagan proved deficits don't matter."

He told it like it was and let others come along beside him, with a wink in his eye and a mischievous grin and sense of humor, he stood tall and he stood strong, and I loved him as a president for it!   • I'd rather celebrate Jefferson, Mason, Madison, Richard Lee, Thomas Paine, Samuel Adams etc. for inspiration. If we want to restore the Republic, let us look to the source of it. Government grew under Reagan, under his veto pen. He expanded the unconstitutional war on drugs. Let us go back to our founders for inspiration, they understood and respected the limits of the Constitution and understood not to have confidence in man, but chain them down with the law.
