If your struggling to find the last stone of barenziah, try searching in reeking cave, it should be next to a dead guy. This was moved from the Thalmor Embassey from the last patch 1.4. (possibly moved due to people not being able to gain access to the Thalmor Embassey after completing diplomatic immunity)

@KieranTimberwolf Try doing the main quest line. A few missions in there's a party you have to sneak into. other then that some were near by is an exit getting out. It's a cave. Possibly u can go in through there.

good try, but i can't get 15 minutes of my life back. also that last one wasn't there. on my play through, the last stone was located in a cave next to a dead conjurer and a troll after you escape through a trap door of the thalmor embassy.

i saw that after patch 1.4 you need to enter the reeking cave to find the missing stone as it disappears from your inventory if you have gotten it before this patch like I. but now i have them all

@5283d Yeas, that is true. I used several guides to locate all the stones, and could'nt find the one in Thalmor embassy. Looked my ass of everywhere! Then out of extreme luck i stoumbled in to "Reeking Cave" and there it was! :) So update the video so nobody else would use several hours and lots of svering because they cant find this stone.

i understand that the reason behind obtaining each stone is so the player can experience alot of the side-quest content of the game, however for me i had already been to every single one of the areas where each of the stones are on 5 different characters on seperate playthroughs, so on my 6th character i just cheated to place all the stones in my bag so i could do the quest xD sure its cheating but i couldnt be bothered running around empty caves and areas to pick the stones up.

To get into the thalmor embassy after the party, you get a horse, you open the gate and turn left, go to the fence, and turn right, go to the wall, and start jumping on the horse, keep jumping towards the building and you'll start to fly...........handy glitch.
