  • What a wonderful, wonderful band. Please come back!

  • mom jeans = not good

  • well, this certainly proves that their live show is every bit as beautiful as their recordings

  • Heyyy, WOW! An Ada on recording, 103-110 Please An Acoustic Guitar or be remembered like A Chaci & Jonie Band 2011 OMEGA ! NYC

  • Amazing!!

  • I still hate Nirvana for killing music like this.

  • the sundays pure bliss

  • come back and save us......

  • wow sounds incredible live.. even with this shitty quality o_o

  • Please run out of money, and release more music.

  • Great sound, beautiful voice and women. I guess in my youth I or we had a such a quality of music to choose from. Today.? The younger kids just listen to the loudest noise. Rap is on par with a jet airplane taking off, just noise. They get some kick out of annoying people with their idiotic loud car sound systems. TV's has game show like contests with lame performers who do not write nor know how to play an instrament. NO harmony, no chord progressions, no knowledge of basic music.knowledge.

  • Stunning stuff! Thanks for uploading. This is the first clip for a gig I was actually at - as I recall Lush were on support, which made it an extra special and blissful evening. Still have the 'ammonite' pressing of the first album. Ah, happy days :-)

  • *swoon*

  • ps thanks for uploading comebackharriet.

  • This is not just pop music, this is art of an exceptional beauty!

  • cool timing !

  • I can't describe the void in my life without Harriet and Co.

  • Saw them live in Bxl way back when animals could talk. One of the best concerts I ever experienced. Blew me away. Harriet's voice, Dave's guitar ... What a combination!

  • Fantastic voice even on this old bootleg. Absolutely my favorite Sundays tune. Hopefully you'll come back someday, Harriet. We're all a bit older, but I'd love to see you back. Also love to see you with your hair down just once.

  • agree with agramsci - god they sound right vocally and instrumentally. they reincarnate the 90's so well. I still think they should get part of The Cranberries royalties...

  • "I still think they should get part of The Cranberries royalties... "

Heh. Only the Cranberries are downright melancholy. The Sundays are more wistful.

  • I do wish they would come back... :))

    I so miss them...

  • A great song, from an all time great album. Love it!

  • Makes anything Morrissey did sound like a brain-damaged ape hitting on a steam pipe. God they were good.

  • i love this song, and got my sister into them, she didn't know they were so glittery and deep and wonderful. i love them bunches

  • @hollowmenrule "Glittery and deep and wonderful" - what a perfect description of how I feel when listening to the Sundays!

  • Too. "clax"

    She is one of three

Iris Dement( " Let the mystery be") and Caron Wheeler(soul 11 Soul) "Feel free"-----check them out. Harriet is still my fave.

  • Agree. Neither of those girls have the pipes and grace to match Harriet. Her voice remains one of a kind yet.

  • Ive been to shows and watched bands try thier hardest to reproduce the sound we want to hear, its rare without overdubbing, these guys pull it off with ease, what a pleasure to see these early shows,I didnt know how much I missed her voice and their sound till now....

  • wow no comments in 3 months? Harriet is the Best Vocalist hands down! in music all the others are trying to hard to sound like each other!

  • Superb. One band I would pay to see reform.

  • Wish I'd got to see them live. They don't make 'em like they used to...

  • Wonderful and Beautiful....

  • The Sundays give me goosebumps every time I listen. They are the best. Even in audio/video of the poorest quality - this, for example - they are more intoxicating than anyone else. So I've put this on favorites.

  • You are absolutely right. An amazing track, even in low-fi.

  • The soundtrack of my early 20's. Man this stuff brings back bittersweet memories. Thank the god/goddesses for the Sundays!!!!

  • One of the best song writing bands ever. Most of the stuff are just guitar, bass, drums and Harriet's vocal. Not many bands are able to make such a great sound without keyboards. That is one of the CD's of my early 20's soundtrack as well :-)

  • Their best song. One of the best songs ...ever! God I'm in love w/ her.

  • brilliant! what a guitar player, what a voice. it's hard to believe they sound this good live. brings back so many memories of when i was 18. come back sundays!

  • I saw this tour in Cologne, Germany in March 1990. I have loved them ever since!

  • Sadly, the Sundays will forever remind of the good times that ended with college and the realities of the 9-5 kicked in. How appropriate: 'Here's where the Story Ends' I played on my mini cd player on my 1st day to work after graduation. true story. Sundays are such unique sound in the day. hard to believe it's been almost 20 years!

  • all i can say... is wow. wow, angelic. possibly the best and purest stuff to come out of the synthetic hyper heavy psuedo sincere 90's.

  • aint harriet so good live. wished id have seen the sundays live. they sound excellent!

    thank you for sharing this.

  • Amazing! Sounds just like the recording

  • great!

  • :)

Thanks for digging this out and posting it.

  • Thank you so much for this.

  • abs. rare!

  • Bloody Brilliant Performance! I love The Sundays! Bloody Brilliant!
