  • Love the call and response near the end of the song. Page and Plant were pros at doing that.

  • I remember going to the Fillmore East in early 1969 to see the one-hit wonder, Iron Butterfly, do In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida. It was noteworthy at the time, only because it was long. The opening act turned out to be some unknown-to-me Brits called Led Zeppelin. They opened with this number, and the roof blew off the place. Needless, to say, Iron Butterfly was an anti-climax, and disappeared from the scene soon after.
