Oh, trust me, I cringe every time I watch this video. I've since gotten a AAA, and this was probably my worst performance on this song in a while...really, though, does anybody know why Konami makes the rating system vary so damn much between each release of this franchise?

i believe u. i dont play this often. my best is an A with like idk, four missed steps? the rating system is confusinng sometimes. like ive gotten AA's when there was like, three goods and an almost on Do It Right 80's Electro Mix.
I agree that it's pretty easy, and I didn't even do very well at it this time around. When I watch it, I keep messing up at all the places that I shouldn't be. Of course, I like to blame that on the fact that I use a soft pad that's gradually reaching 'broken' status. It's nowhere near as responsive as I'd like it to be.

yah i just got the soft pad for xbox 360 today and it is a pain in the ass... lol. But I have a metal mat for ps2

at the same time, I would recommend putting a big piece of card board under the soft mat if it is on a rug... more support :)
