  • Oh yea thx alot! Cuz yu kno i wasnt planning on sleeping for the rest of my Life!!!

  • This has made me fearful about going back to Nashville this year......

I knew about this spider before I visited last year, but I hadn't seen this video then!

  • nope nope nope nope!!!!!! nopedoutloud!!!!

  • So..God job God on creating such a useful creature to fill this empty world for us:)

  • thumbs up if you feel bad

  • Thumbs up if you're trying not to writhe around in your chair while watching this

  • His leg wound looks like a bowl of chili...mmmm makes me hungry

  • Well at least that doctor is pretty hot...

  • Atleast they can't fly....

  • & this guy moved to Alaska after he saw the brown recluses of family of 12 still hiding out at his abode

  • Why the fuck am I watching this in bed about to turn the lights off.

  • 5 people have arachnophobia!...oh wait now its 6 (Me)

  • Thanks for the info very helpful.

  • *sigh* Damn it Dale...

  • @JayInWonderland what Hank? i got bit by a spider

  • damn nature you´re scary.

  • When I watched this I checked my clothes

  • why do spiders like that even exist

  • i was wearing the same exact pants on that you were wearing at 7:26 rite now ......weird

  • I wouldve been butten earlier today. It was a close call.

  • Damn, why do spiders and jellyfish exist?

  • If it bit you in the ass it would eat away an entire butt cheek! You'd need reconstructive surgery! Assoplasty!

  • Thumbs up if you're paranoid and looking around

  • bloody spiders

  • it would suck so bad if it would of bite his dick

  • i just caught two brown recluses in a cup in my room right now...they look cool! im gona put a mouse in there >:-)

  • Crap. Now my leg hurts.

  • im glad ur ok, Man now i cant sleep at night. lol

  • This is why i'm scared to death of spiders.

  • "At 5 AM in the morning"

As opposed to the 5 AM in the evening? Haha.

  • ONE A DAY!=????

  • There is a lot of these in my neighborhood and some in my house, after watching this I kept scratching my whole body and I couldn't sleep, I already have arachnophobia and this didn't help the fear but it made me more carful and aware of the harm these wonders can cause.

  • I have counted 26 Brown Recluse in my house, two of them were in my room, one actually in my bed right before I got in it. I am going to burn my house down.

  • I'd throw it in the doctor fo sho

  • Holy motherfucking shit! I live North Georgia and those things are common here! Won't be able to sleep tonight!!! That doctor was kinda pretty..

  • ugh i could only imagine the pain....fuck spiders

on a side note that doctors hot

  • These little killers are pretty common here in TX. I was bitten a few years back. I went to the doctor with an itchy ring of blisters on my left deltoid. I had been treating it with neosporin. The doc told me the blisters were from a brown recluse bite. I lost all color in my face, because I thought I'd have a gaping wound like the one in this video. But my doc told me that only about 10% of people end up with those symptoms. I sure was lucky!

  • fuck i can't stop looking at my floor

  • I was bitten 20 years ago on my back. It was a nasty bite. I see now why it wasn't as bad as yours. I was bitten right below my shoulder blade where it's all muscle. Your video is the only one that seems like mine, but yours is MUCH worse! I needed no grafting, but it was a close call.. I wonder, do you ever expose your scar to the sun for more than 15 or so minutes, while swimming or something? My scar turned green and itched like crazy then. It only darkens now, but itches when I swim and tan!

  • I found one of these fuckers in my kitchen this afternoon, I decapitated it with a spatula.

  • @TardlingSC2 fuck yeah. If i saw one of those things i'd burn that shit.

  • @TardlingSC2 I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend inventing the 50 bucks to have a exterminator to come out and spray for spiders. Its a special chemical. I used to have these at a old house thought i was fine. Then got bitten in my sleep and nearly lost my arm. I could have spent 50 bucks on a exterminator..ended up with 20,000 dollars in doctors bills.

  • These spiders are very common. I ran into one in Rhode Island. My mother keeps her car under a car tent. I saw a thick web and started poking it with a stick, (like an idiot). Suddenly the recluse came out very aggressively. This thing was at face level. I jumped back as I immediately knew what type of spider it was. This one was not timid! The thing is, my wife was recently bitten on her back by one of these suckers and only received a bee sting like wound. It was moderately painful and someti

  • i wont sleep agian i didnt sleep last night when i watched this and befor it i saw A brown recluse in my room

  • See, this is why I'm never going to America :L:L

  • Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy did I start watching this????? I'm out.

  • we just found out that the under of our house we just bought is infested with these little pricks. im scared to go to sleep, so i sleep with the light on because they dont like the light.

  • crap I shouldn't have watched this. And then i looked up what pART of the country they live in. and now i'm freaking out. because i live in MD right next to WV. Im gonna just watch A movie now and fall asleep.

  • OH EMM GEE!!!!!!!

  • Note to self* KILL EVERY SPIDER I SEE!!! >:D

  • I live in Illinois...

  • whats this show called? i wanna watch it.

  • @mcpierrecomeros "I was bitten"

  • whelp, i'm not sleeping tonight.

  • My friends brother died because a brown recluse bit his eye and it was too late when he got to the hospital 2 weeks later

  • Dam thats a big meat ball

  • I felt crawling on my leg i got scared.... it was just an itch

  • At 7:21 that stitching that is holding the bandage on looks like a spider. Ironic.

  • @Clarice1933 True. That was holding on the skin graft. Weeks after the bite. They took skin from the other side of the leg. It really helped the healing process.

  • hmm there has to be away to stop them hmmm think floks i use citronell all bugs hate that even some dogs basically its a lemming thing i make and well your clothes might smell like a lemon but the bugs hate it, its like piss not the smell the sent you know how a dog pees in a location to make its mark that is the same with this lemon spray the bugs avoid it with a passion i done a test on some ants and they left there nest and i thought spiders were a one man show and not in groups

  • My brother almost died if an brown recluse but now he has a scare that Is bigger than his whole calf

  • I have swam in Bull infested waters, i will happily pick up venomous snakes but keep these things away from me! ( These and box jellyfish, doesn't help in live in Australia.)

  • I was just bitten yesterday and did my own self surgery cutting into the wound thinking I could extract the venom. I did follow up with a trip to ER and since these things are common in Florida. My doctor says, "Hum, nice incision.....you do know that allowed the venom to spread quicker?" When bitten, head to ER immediately. There is no self remedy. I'm fine but I could have made things much worse. One bad ass little spider.

  • You guys want your 5 bedroom houses on your 3000 sqaure foot lots? Well where do you expect them to get the land to do that? THE WILD, where animals who mind their own business would normally never see a human being.

  • You are probably better off taking a bite from a Black Widow.

  • Thumbs up if you just got the chills and looked at the floor

  • @ag69192 : I checked my clothes =)

  • @ag69192 thumbs up if you live in sweden when its 35-C in the winter that would kill these assholes

  • @ag69192 The FLOOR? I looked at the floor, walls, bed, shoes, etc.. :S I got super freaked out.

  • AAAAAHH!!! :O!!! HOW SCARY!... the college I got to had a huge problem this fall w/ these spiders at 1 of the entrances. I always jus ran in for my night classes n didn't think any of those BR spiders would fall on me, until I came home from a night class n found 2 by my bag! I did some research n not everybody reacts the same to the bite. That's why some have a severe reaction. I think a lot of ppl also dont kno much about these spiders, or that they are so dangerous for kids/older people. EWw

  • what thats why i allways watch out for spiders keep my room clean and not moist

  • I live in Iceland where it's friggin' cold in the winter and maybe about 16-20ish degrees in the summer. I think i am going to stay here since there is not a single! thing in iceland that has this effect. I saw this on some channel few years back and i said then and i say it now, i am happy about living in Iceland. It may be cold but you are safe as hell fondling with your hands and whole arms in a very dark, cluttered, area in a tool shed....

  • i`ve been bitten by two of these motherfuckers.Damn near killed my ass

  • worst thing to watch in bed at night in north cal :(

  • I'm scared to go to a apartment now

  • did any one else look down right after watching this?

  • @walter5734

If it is on your ankle, that is a much less serious situation than on the thigh, but yes there are definitely better ways to treat such wounds

  • im so happy to live in middle-europe now. the most toxic spider we have here is about as dangerous as a wasp. thank god.

  • Don't go to the Hospital they will kill you in there. I had a brown recluse bite 5 inches above my right ankle i was kinda limping around for about a week with a swollen leg and an open sore a little bit larger than a quarter never went to the doctor. Just packed the wound with the Generic brand of Neosporin and kept a clean bandage on it secured with an ace bandage wrap. Healed completely in three weeks.

  • @Walter5734 Sadly that is why most BR bites go unreported and are misdiagnosed in a hospital. True, most can be self treated but there are those that can benefit from treatment.

  • @chillicoth many people belive this spider is less toxic than the recluse, or so i think...any way the recluse's venom is more deadly thank that of a rattlesnakes

  • @Walter5734 not like that guy had a choice, the pain was the only reason he went

  • @Walter5734 This is known as "anecdotal evidence" :-)) You were lucky it was your ankle, not face/neck.

With poisons that cause tissue destruction it all depends on WHERE you were bitten. If you are bitten on the neck/face - you are in grave danger, call 911. If it is your toe/finger - you may lose it without help. If fleshy area on the trunk/leg - you are in least amount of danger.

It is ALWAYS a good idea to call 4 help. Especially if you aren't 100% sure what species it was that bit you.

  • @Walter5734

    u sureabout that? D:

  • @soodiangel Yes i am a Scientist ! But some people have a much more severe reaction to the Brown Recluse than other people do. For example some people are highly allergic to poison ivy while others are completely immune some people die from a single bee sting, to others its just an annoyance it depends upon the individual. HAHAHAHAHA !

  • I think in his position with the extreme pain he felt no other choice. @Walter5734

  • WAIT WHAT!!! These things are in illinois...I live in Iowa thats a ball breaker

  • Whoa how did that not hurt when they took the bandages off?

  • @StormyLuve heck ya. Those wet-to-dry dressings were the worse.

  • @chillicoth

    ....were the WORST... not worse

  • @chillicoth you are dale?

  • JESUS CHRIST!!!!!!!

  • I would have gone to the doctor right away!

  • @llecho419ll Watch the video. He did! They turned him away

  • @chillicoth Oh sorry I must have missed that. I thought he just thought nothing of it at first. I'm just glad he's okay. That's scary stuff!

  • I'm scared as fuck now! I see those around my house sometimes. I never thought they could do that much damage! Damnnnnn

  • was this you?

  • This wasn't you was it?

  • @ibyOFshieldz it was me. 2002 bite.

  • @chillicoth I killed one in my basement 5 min ago o_0

  • I'd much prefer this over neurological side effects. So idk if I'd consider it one of the most dangerous.

  • What the f**k it's simply disgusting!!! And it must be pianfull too!!!!

    My God!!!

  • Lololololol the black stitches on the white bandage at 7:18 looks like a spider.

  • Glad I live in MN.

  • lawl 6:23 looks like pizza

  • This video will most likely make people scared as shit of brown recluses. I don't blame them after watching a movie with some freaky as music, talking, and pic/vid shots. SPIDER PHOBIA ANYONE!?

  • @8ball2d agreed. propaganda city.

  • I was just bitten by a Brown Recluse recently. However, the scar was nothing compared to that.

  • That's one hell of a scar! How in gods name can he walk straight?!

  • @Hugo02886 Luckily no muscle tissue was killed.

  • I have these things all over the place in my basement...

  • @klaywaffle do they live in louisiana too cause if so I wanna Learn how to make a glutrap

  • I sure hope that they are not in my part of Canada (Manitoba). :S

  • @iLikeToShank brown recluse are not in Canada, so you're safe

  • I'm moving to chicago and I'm very paranoid of this spider. You got any tips?

  • @deadpool89 Glue traps work the best to find out if they are in your house

  • wtf this pisses me off ^_^

    i feel so unsafe now

  • Damn it I live in Illinois... Well at least I know if I get bitten I should go straight to the hospital

  • @Repudation yep if you go to the hospital and know it is a spider bite be forceful for treatment. I went in a OSF Clinic and told them it was a brown recluse. The doc said it was probably something else and to "watch the area of bite". He even seemed a little unsure of his diagnosis but wanted a "wait and see" approach. Nearly lost my life the next day.

  • wow thats FUCKIN INSANE, well i live safe, the most dangerous creature we have here is adders :x

  • Wat does the wound feel like when you touch it?

  • @Markthebagman well when the skin died it felt like rubber

  • I was eating a hot dog while watching this :(

  • man they add too much drama in these clips lol

  • yeah... in wyoming when we were moving and cleaning we found a nest and they get very aggressive when they feel agitated. they were literally lunging at us when we were killing them

  • are these in california?

  • OH SHIT! OH SHIT! OH SHIT! THAT'S WHY I HAVE ARACHNOPHOBIA.OH SHIT! OH SHIT! OH SHIT!.................excuse my language.

  • nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Just had one killed in my bathroom of my suite. So glad I called campus security when I did.

  • OH NO! SO SCARE! Do they live in LA?? @_@

  • i got bit bye one in the same place never went to the hospital i only got a scar the size of a quarter so why das this guy have a cratuer for leg

  • @mungoz4lif Well it is because of the amount of poison, how I was bitten, and where I was bitten. The worst bites are when the spider is under your sheets or clothes. Thus when I hit the bug as it crawled under my sheets it injected all the poison it had into my leg. The poison worked its was through my soft tissue but did not get to the muscle. Another day the leg would have been lost.

  • @chillicoth Like he said, it depends on the amount of toxin. Spiders usually have greater amounts at night when it's out hunting. Most bites are self-limiting.

  • @mungoz4lif how do you know it was a brown recluse? if u were to ever get bitten by this pider you'd be fucked! i'm sure it was another type of spider

  • i hate when doctors can give you all the complicated terminology but cant figure out that its a venomous not "poisonous" spider....dumbass

  • @masterfun40 too true.

  • are these in new york?

  • @ceeIoc yes

  • @ceeIoc NO they only live in the southern states of Texas(i live their and i have a whole lot in my house) Alabama,Georgia,Missisippi, and Florida

  • I never heard of this damn thing till both of my cousins got bit. I have yet to come across one here in Springfield IL. But after this I'll definitely be on the look out.

  • how can i avoid this spider i live in my basement and i dont want to get bitten

  • @parkouris4u basically put glue traps out to catch them and shake your clothe/sheets out before you put them over your skin.

  • @chillicoth ok thanks

  • Brown Recluse , kill those motherfuckers. I went to basic training in Fort Knox, Kentucky and when I went to the final FTX I saw like 15 of the fuckers in the woods. I was so scared, fuck the drill sgt the spiders made me want to pass out when I saw them

  • It sucks to have a shed infested with these blokes.

Luckily no one has been bitten by 'em yet.

  • holy shit. I live in southeast asia and we don't see such spiders here.

but still i dont think i can sleep in peace tonight.

  • I live up north in sweden so no bug can survive here ! :D

  • hehe.. samme her i Norge... Gud er maktige,

  • Are these in Indiana tooo?????

  • yep

  • Who's the asian chick.

    WHOO HOO!

    Damn she fine.

  • She is a doctor to boot.

  • Comment removed

  • i just got bit by one of those like a week ago!!!!!!

but its not nearly as bad as his lol

  • HOLY FUCK

  • fuck!

  • I am never sleeping again.

  • @hippocratesshadow9 lesson here is even when half asleep always check your covers....every night....like I do. I live in my basement w/my parents so I get a lot of spiders. Being completely afraid and paranoid of spiders if I see more than 4 in a week I set bug bombs off in my room and in high traffic areas, effectively killing anything and everything that is a bug. Always check everything and be aware.

  • absolutely frightening, my mom told me about these spiders, she lives in Alabama and I live with my dad in Nj we have plenty of spiders in the backyard, cause there's woods right there, one night I woke up with the covers off laying on my back and felt a spider crawling on my stomach, I brushed it away so forcefully it flew across the room about 12 ft. scared the s outa me.

  • i love this video!!!!!!!!!! even though i hate spiders. But i don't live in IL i live in AZ, there some brown recluses here in AZ

  • I live in IL you can find these guys all over the place. lucky though I have never been bit

  • TELL ME WHAT IT FEELS LIKE!

  • i got bit almost lost my leg........was in the hospital for a while the pain is awful

  • 2:25 "Its intent is not to harm humans" That is the dumbest sentence ever! It naturally fucks us up royally!

  • @breiningac lol I think she meant that if it had a choice it would avoid us, but since it can't with our growing development into their natural environment it encounters us. We are bigger than them and thus we are the predator and they are the prey and they strike accordingly to protect themselves. Many spiders would rather run from you. I live in a basement so I see a lot of spiders. They always run away from me. And I likewise run away from them. Often ending up perched on something lol.

  • this is scary !

  • where do these spiders live?

  • Mostly in the southern US

  • does that mean California?

  • yes

  • Well, this video made me feel a lot better.
