it´s really good, to lern at the couch with a beer ;) it´s a bit difficult to translate every word in my head, because i´m from germany, but this prof. sems to explain pretty good. from which uni is this!?
I love these online lectures. I'm playing with a machete right now while drinking beer, and I don't think I could get away with that at an actual lecture.
"Natural ability without education has more often attained to glory and virtue than education without natural ability."- Cicero
"True teaching is not an accumulation of knowledge; it is an awaking of consciousness which goes through successive stages."- Ancient Egyptian Proverb
"Knowledge which is acquired under compulsion obtains no hold on the mind." - Socrates
"There's a big difference between knowing the name of something and knowing something" - Richard Feynman
"Imagination is more important than Knowledge" - Albert Einstein
"Where the Mystery is present, Joy is infinite; where the Mystery has departed , efficacy is exhausted and the spirit disappears"- Ge Hong
Education is the kindling of a flame, not the filling of a vessel- Socrates "Growth in consciousness doesn't depend on the will of the intellect or it's possibilities but on the intensity of the inner urge."- Ancient Egyptian Proverb
OMG I used to have 6 hours in a row!!! First Calculus, then Physics and then Statistics, and that was as a newb. And here they are complaining on how though MIT is. This guy got me curious about the pedagogical system in MIT. Could it actually work?
i'm not trying to discourage you, but there are many many kids with the skills to make it into MIT and only a few are selected. sorry but blog stalking is not a skill either

Hi! I'm looking for a complete derivation of sapce groups as Schoenflies did over 100 years ago... Does anybody know where I can find his paper:
A. Schoenflies Kristallsysteme und Kristallstruktur, Leipzig, 1891
or maybe a book where the whole process of derivation is described. Thanks!

I suppose if you want to walk around and assume your body is a transport for your brain, MIT would be a good choice for you.
ddstar 3 years ago
That's not completely true.

Hey !! If Mystery goes to expose his science based social skills and techniques and MIT is interested I don't think that's that extreme.
