She's my second favourite author :D Since Harry Potter ended I had nothing I could read and properly get into. I hated the Twilight series so I was looking for something completely different and I love Werewolves so I looked for some werewolf books and found Bitten. My Christmas list consisted of Kelley Armstrong books lol
I've only read one of her books. Bitten. Bitten is absolute my favorite werewolf novel. It's tasteful and grade A. It's not a teen young adult book that's poorly written. Like the Wereling series. However, I wish she had let Bitten remain single. Quite frankly, I'm really disppointed that she made a series out of it. I don't care about demons, witches, faries, etc. She would have been fine stopping at Bitten or continuing the series with JUST the werewolves.
I've read the books in the series that has been published, from "Bitten" to "Living with the Dead" and "Men of the Otherworld". I love Armstrongs writing style. It's a perfect mix of love, suspense, relationships and paranormal events.
I like all of the books, but "Bitten" is probably still my favourite. The quality goes a little up and down, but it's never boring.
I loved reading Bitten - I couldn't put the book down it was so good! I think Bitten would be fantastic as a movie - lets hope they make it happen!! Regarding the other books, Stolen was good, but I found Dime Store Magic & Industrial Magic hard to read and boring at times (sorry!). I haven't read the others in the series, but I might read Broken as it goes back to Elena.
Good books, Bitten and Stolen is by far the best. I think her books are kinda going down hill but thats because of those ass holes who demand a book every year I believe. Bitten is the best because that's like 8 years of good work. I wish publishers and editors would just back off and let the writers have more freedom.
oh well. Does anyone know when Savage, Ascension, Beginnings, and that Chupicabra (spl) are coming out in a single book??
I'm sure you know it by now, but the stories "Infusion", "Savage", "Ascension" and "Kitsunegari" are now published in the book "Men of the Otherworld." Some of the others are going to be published in a book called "Tales of the Otherworld."
Books get optioned all the time, but making them is something else entirely. I'm not sure what the status of the movie project is. Next time I see Kelley, I'll ask.
Its really interesting to hear this interview. I have only read bittn so far. I am going to read it again and them follow on with the other books in order. I do have a question tho. WHat happened with the movie adaptio? I heard Angeina Jolie was meant to be ataking on the role of Elena. I was so excited about this but it would appear to never have taken off... Any chance of this happening in the future?!

you know who would make an excellent Elena? Milla Jovovich, who plays Alice in the film adaptations of Resident Evil. Excellent!
