the sound of it is nice, but it doesnt seem like it wants to rev up very well, almost like its lagging or choked up somehow.

They all sound like that at really low rpm.

When air velocity is very low fuel falls out of suspension and gives a bog even with accelerator pump when carbs r very big and especially if a long duration cam is used.

Some race engines will bog upto 5000rpm!

Nice motor.

I also have Pinto Capri. 2.2 Burton, twin 48's, big valves etc. Doesn't tick over very smooth but goes like stink when revved.
