I started watching this.. and it started making sense.. Then came the problem.. I wuz like, "HOW AM I GOING TO DO THIS?!" Then.. I REWATCHED the video. It KINDA helped.. but I still gotta study for BIGGER and HARDER problems.. but this video has helped me.. alot.. :)

I"m currently taking a remedial algebra class in college for like the third or fourth time, i keep failing or withdrawing, and you are the first teacher that finally helped me understand what they were doing...freaking amazing....i was considering dropping out.....but i get it now!!! Thank You...

What's really bad is that my mother is an Educational Specialist in Mathematics and I could never learn algebra from here. In a 2:09 youtube video, you just gave me a clearer understanding of how to do a basic problem!! No more guessing for me! LOL Maybe with a little studying I can actually pass the CLEP

This is the first video that gave me an unclouded idea of how to understand algebra - there are a lot of messy and over-complication "tutorial" videos out there but this makes it easy to learn. Thanks.

This is the first class I ever failed...and I failed it over 5 times in highschool. Which in turn I failed Chemistry.Even after watching this video...I still don't understand why.As in why would you put a (x) next to a (2)? Why do you have to do everything opposite? 10yrs since I graduated and NEVER had I ever run into a Algebraic equation or ever needed to use one. I work with machinery and if I need to find a number I can do it. I don't deal with hypithetical numbers that may or may not exist.

Question, I'm in Pre-Algrebra and this is exactly what we're doing now. Whats the difference between pre al and normal then?

@d3adman1142 Usually the order to take these classes is Pre-Algrebra, Algebra 1A, and then Algebra 1B. Depending on your math skills and grades, some kids will be placed in pre-algebra. Some may have really high grades or already have credit for pre-algrebra, so they are put in Algebra 1A.

I am guessing it means it gets harder..

I have been out of high school for 9 yrs. and I havn't done any algebra since. What you don't use or think about you tend to forget. Your videos have really helped me to relearn this stuff. You make it so easy...a cave man could do it. Haha good job man.
