Absolutely moving, matches the original in that respect. The strings like rising and falling waves, pulling you in... rumbling underneath like fate's currents... the same pain in the vocals, the same fear and the same fearlessness. This is stunning. Excellent instrumental work, excellent vocals, excellent mixing, everything.

Even so far away, I can still feel the ocean pulling me close...

Just watched it again this morning and realised that this is you actually singing it (herp derp =/) It sounds fucking brilliant man. This is absolutely brilliant. The instrumental part is actually better than the original. The voice is really good too. It's a little too similar to Trent though, I'd love to hear a more personal approach to the vocals. Also great video. Keep it up!

Damn dude, This is quite a challenging song to be covering and it sounds damn near perfect; And to see it along side clips from Boyle's Sunshine was pretty amazing too. Out of curiosity, why do you prefer the covers sound so close to the originals? I think you should deviate as far as you can get, i've been listening to some of your original work and i think you could take these songs in a different direction.
