I bought the PA2 gainbooster but it doesnt give me a volume boost on the dirty channel.. it only works on the clean channel.. i have 81/85 emgs in it... can anyone help me fix that problem???

thanks for the info, i had read that the 18 volt mod didn't make that much of a difference with the 81-X..i also have the Afterburner but i think that would be overkill with a Peavey 3120

emgs are not really high gain pickups... they dont have a really high output... its high,.. but there are passives with twise the output
