@jgronewald08 I think JKidd is a true PG, meaning he looks for the pass before he looks for his own shot. Nash has to contribute a lot of offense in Phoenix. And although Nash did make superstars out of his teammates, so did JKidd. Hello, JKidd WAS the New Jersey Nets. He's the one who changed their dynamics and made them title contenders for two years straight. So don't pull that "he had support" crap. Nash is great. Amazing, even. But don't put down JKidd like that.
@booyachic14 Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like I was putting down Kidd, he is one of the greatest PGs ever to play and although he played on some good teams, he was the nucleus and best player on all of them except the Mavericks (where he still plays a huge role since he allows them to use all the weapons that they have). I was just saying that Nash has some facets to his game that Kidd never had. So for me, in the last half of their careers, Nash was and is better. Definitely arguable though
Dirk Nowitzki & Steve Nash were one of thee best dynamic duels to play thee game, i just don't understand why players of today can't stick together! so many great duels/teams these days break apart. nashy stinks j kid can do anything he can + more. and plus kidd got 2 gold medal and is 46 and 0 in olymipics. got almost 10k assists averages 7+ rebounds. and has had 102 triple doubles which equals 3rd in history.
@homie2292 are you serious? don't get me wrong, J Kidd is a great player, one of the best pg's of the last twenty years, but he cannot do nearly as much as nash. nash is arguably the best shooter ever, has ridiculous handling and passing that J Kidd can't touch. Kidd has had great support his whole career, Nash has made his teammates into big names on his own... 2 MVPs for a pg these days... says it all
@jgronewald08 Are you serious? Do you even know how bad Jason's teammates were when he was in his prime? Kerry Kittles, Brian Scalabrine, yeah. GREAT supporting cast! Nash's teammates Amar'e and Marion were both stars on their own rights. Look at Marion in his prime prior to teaming with Nash and look at Amar'e right now.

@irishock I think the thing that got me on homie2292's comment was saying that Nashy stinks, because that's just ignorant. Stats aren't absolutely definitive, I think Nash does things that go beyond numbers and I think if you watch him it's hard to disagree with that
