  • I hope you don't mind, but I did a remix of your vid because it was inspiring. I posted it as a video response. If you want I will take it down. - WW

  • Good music choice.

  • Looks like you caught it with a fresh layer of asphalt. Cool indeed. One tree turn.

  • Good shit...

  • Great Job, You so creative.

  • what a beautiful view :D at the beginning

  • Well done. My hometown. I grew up driving that road.

  • imagine bike or longboard down there!!!!!!!

  • i wish i can drive that real full speed.

imagine me rolling in some Lamborghini 200miles and hr

  • would you recccommend getting this camera? looks amazing!!

  • Wow! What a sweet view! Love love love the bumpin music!

  • Great video! I love Lewiston! Thank you for uploading!

  • The song "Hot Rod Lincoln" was composed about an actual race up this hill in the 1940's. It's documented.

  • We drove up the spiral highway one night smoking meth.

  • I traveled down the Spiral Highway in August. This video is great but you have to experience it first-hand.

  • this is just AMAZING !

  • Damn i miss that place

  • Makes me miss home!

  • What kind of lense is that? I thought that lenses wouldn't work with this camera

  • Clawless here,I usually take the steep hill when I go back to my hometown but I have driven it but have not taken changitzie down the old highway

  • Also, the green treed area at 53-54 sec. is where the old water spigot was for the Model T's, A's to get water for their radiators.

  • I learned to drive on this hill in 1965 with Col. Lynch as my instructor!! Still is fun to drive on!! Lotsa memories on the "off roads"!! LOL

  • My parents used this road while moving to Lewiston in 1932 and told me of folks paying a small fee to have horses pull their old clunkers up this then mostly dirt surfaced road. I have bicycled and motorcycled this wonderful hill many times and it is something that I will always remember from my childhood of living in the "valley". I see that the old Golden Grain Dairy sign from the 1950's is still visible in this video. Good memories for sure.

  • No WONDER I got carsick every time I came down this as a kid! I was born in Lewiston & my older brothers & sister went to UI so I had plenty of chances to experience it.

  • This is one of the best parts of coming down from Spokane on my Motorcycle. Love it. Great job, great pace.

  • Wow! I got to the end and saw some favorite places I had forgotten. At 2:19 is the same two yellow directional signs that I loved to see as a kid in the back seat. They meant that we were REALLY almost home. And of course, The water tank, just after the hairpin, was ENORMOUS to a 6 year old.

Thank you so very much for posting this. My Dad, who still lives in Lewiston, ID sent me the link. Makes me want to see a film of CANDY CANE LANE at Christmas.

  • I was a kid when I lived in Lewiston. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been at least 35 years since I was on that road. wasn't the pink building at 1:00 a restaurant in the 70's? Seams like I should know that place.

  • Where is Lewiston, WA as the video first states? I grew up in Lewiston, ID

  • @marvbird Ya ya :p At least I got it right in the description

  • You did. Had to give you a hard time though. LOL
