The term Son of God has been the most misinterpreted saying in the entire bible. God is a trinity a multifaceted being which Jesus is a part of. By son he means came from. Deepak is right on this. The truth about Jesus is the truth about us all. Jesus discovered that the truth is a Being, and that in truth, he was that Being. Conversely, the lie about Jesus is the lie about us all. Jesus discovered that he is really not a man. Rather, he is really the Being which is Life itself. Likewise, we are not really humans either, for which reason Jesus said, "Call no man father".
Deepak has a clairvoyance not everyone has or should have. This is by design. If everyone was able to figure out the true nature of God and the universe it would lessen the experience. Deepak knows what I'm referring to.

I recently believed he just meant he knew he was and that all others were/are children of god, sparks of the same flame. Parts of the same ocean. But if we become of creation and then become aware then we create a new species(in this world but not OF it.?

Wow...nice. If Men's goal in life it is to awaken to himself, to creation, creation becoming conscious of itself, then perhaps if Jesus was (and I believe he was) fully awake then he may have indeed said this to mean it just like you just said.
