  • i totally agree with what you're saying, but knowing the theory does help when you're not sure where to go from a certain spot, I've only been playing for a year and a half, but it has helped to know some theory

  • Judging by the video, you probably have more to share.

You are the sexiest chick on uTube. No, it's not the mole, or the glasses, or even the balls (???) to speak the truth. It is your love of music. The same as my own.

Don't ever let it die within you. Bravo.

  • cute and smart - not very common these days,

according to Dr. House theory if a good looking girl chooses a career means she is really dedicated to her work.

    the same applies to our current "music" industry;

    good video.

  • yeah....

  • I like beirut (indie/folk) i like how they use the violins and brass.

  • I like to listen to songs and try to play it in piano by ear... I never liked theory but i liked music that people make in their heart. We hear music everywhere but we dont notice it.

  • Theory shows you that you never needed theory - thats if you have the gift. classic is important thats the bases/structure . fake music is what the media promotes , real music is what they exploit thnx to censorship

  • hats off FuckTheMainStream \mm/

  • Great stuff. I agree with you.

  • listen too my track nuffsed it's the only track ive up loaded but iv'e got some other decent stuff comming.

  • i agree still me and my friend was on about the same thing but i was brought up round hip hop and they all fit into moulds i think you should just make some amazing stuff.

  • i agree with you completely. real music which involves talent whether that may be an instrument, vocals or whatever, is what music should be. however , we are now surrounded by music which is now being generated by computers, electronics and shit and its sad to see people who have never heard of great musicians who connot excel their career because the music industry only cares about what nowadays people listen too such as pop computer generated sounds ect. go listen to jimi hendrix or something

  • @PortalSands What's wrong with computers getting into the music industry? Why can't computers be considered instruments?

  • eyedea and abilities

  • there is no such thing as REAL or FAKE music... music is music, and nothing else. stop labeling music as if we totally understand the whole concept of music (which we don't, we've only scrapped the top of the iceberg of music) we haven't been exposed to actual music being produced by nothing else but music.

  • tits or gtfo

  • Who gives a fuck about what music is centered around or what other people think about i, If you like the beat and what they sound like and can relate to what they're saying then listen to it, if you don't then listen to a different song

  • @Chencho1997 If u didnt care then you shouldnt have bothered commenting :)

  • fuck the comments below me no one cares

  • Comment removed

  • wow i really agree with you yet dont even have 500 likes :( its really sad, music is amazing and fake music ruins what real music played by real instruments is in todays society. every mainstream artist is fake, especial this new techno shit with skrillex and lmfao and all that shit its pathetic, everythings computer generated and auto tuned :( if only more people could hear your story

  • caught me off guard lol I really didnt expect you to say curren$y and Devin the dude

  • Hey if you haven't heard Blue Scholars, Or Macklemore from the seattle area. I recommend from everything you have said, to give them a listen.. Definately some real music.. change my life for the better.

  • i think that a lot of the fake music is more for males because we have seen life from the point of view of someone with only a dollar in their pockets. its like a competition. so to hear rappers talk about their wealth or when you see big shiny rims its supposed to be almost like an insult to us but at the same time supposed to want to make us overcome our situation. and well you being a woman i'd to wonder if you'd choose hunger over diamonds. BUT i completely understand what your saying.

  • Love it

  • I agree 100% with your opinion, thanks for sharing it.

  • \„/, ,\„/

  • @kronicaster HA

  • I hear contemporary music, now emulated almost ironic. If music is a real similar to river, but I dislike listening to music, of course. This can only damage Our sense of the development of rivers and mainstream music.

  • music." Why indeed? Can't we discuss these things in other ways? Can you really say that it's a good thing that what most people consider today to be music is nothing more than glorified poetry with music as an accompaniment?

Or am I being elitist? Is there anything I'm missing? You've definitely given me food for thought; I'd love to hear more from you on this if I haven't come off as too snobby.

  • And when he does speak (to me, at least), the things he says are more profound and encompassing and wise and, yes, real, than anything I've ever encountered in my entire life--musically or otherwise. I can't help but think of how worthy of ridicule most music is today simply because of how petty speaking about sex or friendship or politics is in comparison to these broader ideas. As Gustav Mahler put it, "If a composer could say what he wanted to in words, he would not bother trying to say it in

  • It's always seemed to me that music--at least, as far as composition goes--peaked with Bach and has been slowly going to hell ever since then. Not because of how ridiculously complicated his fugues were, or how "smart" the music he wrote is. I just always get the feeling listening to him that he's really captured what it means to hear music--that he managed to speak that language more fluidly and naturally and meaningfully than anybody else I've ever heard.

  • Hey i've played the violin since i was 9 and i'm almost 19 now and although it's by far my least favorite instrument i've never thought about quitting. I don't think you should either. Even though others may not fully understand the real beauty in classical music, you should play because it makes you happy. Don't worry about the haters. There are still people out there who know that feeling of a great classical song.
