I think that there is a division between MLG and causal players. but I think all the aggression comes from the MLG side. I see it in this way, everyone on the "Causal" side couldn't care less about stats. unlike the MLG players they begin to judge and compare. causing total uproar for the causal players. basically the casual players are to stoned to care.....

I support this idea, because the gaming industry is growing so fast and competitive that sometimes people get really agressive, is incredible to see some people get so upset without a real reason during a match or something. We sometimes forget we are playing, or at least started playing for fun, njoy it please. That's why I always look for the most casual and relaxed playlists, don't like to much pressure. Just not saying not to give the best, just do it right. Peace ;)
the only problem i have with casual gamers is when they sit there and use armor lock all day long and the shot gun and are just ruining the game for everyone, because they think it is 'fun'.
This is one of a few games I've played where it's bad to play competitively and bad to play casually and everything else is mediocre in experience and fun wise.
Previous Halos were much more fun and simple despite them being technically inferieur, they seem so much more fun.
I really like your idea because I always thought I was a misfit and now I feel more confident. I would like to fight along side you; Alex, Adam and Rogen. :) .

This is a cool idea you got going here. Yeah gamers do have a lot of tension online which is one the main reasons I stick with Nintendo. In my experience playing Smash for Gamecube and Wii didn't have this problem of being divivded cause we all go to tornamnets together and we all get to know each other. There's less tension cause we're not anonymous. If you act like a dick, nobody will wana talk to you or support you and at tornaments, you want as much friends and support as you can get!

The reason there is so much hostility in gaming, especially in FPS is just because it puts you in the situation where you are trying to have fun at the expense of others. Think about it, if you go +25 in most situations it's mainly because you pissed off 4 other people having them go negative. And taking it seriously, they have to whine about it. That's why it's so unfriendly most of the time, in my opinion.

Casual - Hardcore gamers will always hate MLG douchebags. Hardcore doesn't mean MLG. No video or person is ever going to change that. I don't have a problem with anyone from MLG as long as they're respectable and give respect back. But with most, that's not the case. Forget what all the other idiots say, I think its a great idea. A lot of gamers were always criticised as being nerds and put into a certain category. Now gamers themselves are putting others into certain categories and criticising them based on what they play. We should all just be able to enjoy gaming and have fun. There are always going to be some jackasses out there, but hopefully some people will understand what you are trying to do and change.

Im actually a fan of this idea, I play reach for the lolz but before I did I was quite heavily involved in the mkw community as a hacker and pro...I have seen both side in that game an people can be complete assholes, I agree with what you guys are saying about knowing where people started everyone played for fun at one time and fights break out over such small differences.
There are crazy numerous causes you could have chosen to advocate, and you choose to try to keep "adversity out of the gaming community" or whatever... I do my best to make others aware of the dangers of sweatshop labor, and how progressivism in the U.S. hasn't reached its goal until we know that American companies aren't abusing poorer countries inablity to support labor regulations. Ok. I've been playing since Halo: Combat Evolved. My gameplay changes every time I go into a game. Some times I really don't care what happens and other times some teammate picks up snipe, gets shot at, and jumps off the map or just gives it to them. This makes me angry. I like to have fun but I see all of this really pointless. Oh yeah, I quit Halo because I have very bad anger issues now. I believe it just depends on your mood. p.s. Being drunk was always a plus for me.

I support this idea, because the gaming industry is growing so fast and competitive that sometimes people get really agressive, is incredible to see some people get so upset without a real reason during a match or something. We sometimes forget we are playing, or at least started playing for fun, njoy it please. That's why I always look for the most casual and relaxed playlists, don't like to much pressure. Just not saying not to give the best, just do it right. Peace ;)

the only problem i have with casual gamers is when they sit there and use armor lock all day long and the shot gun and are just ruining the game for everyone, because they think it is 'fun'.

This is one of a few games I've played where it's bad to play competitively and bad to play casually and everything else is mediocre in experience and fun wise.
Previous Halos were much more fun and simple despite them being technically inferieur, they seem so much more fun.

This is a cool idea you got going here. Yeah gamers do have a lot of tension online which is one the main reasons I stick with Nintendo. In my experience playing Smash for Gamecube and Wii didn't have this problem of being divivded cause we all go to tornamnets together and we all get to know each other. There's less tension cause we're not anonymous. If you act like a dick, nobody will wana talk to you or support you and at tornaments, you want as much friends and support as you can get!

The reason there is so much hostility in gaming, especially in FPS is just because it puts you in the situation where you are trying to have fun at the expense of others. Think about it, if you go +25 in most situations it's mainly because you pissed off 4 other people having them go negative. And taking it seriously, they have to whine about it. That's why it's so unfriendly most of the time, in my opinion.

I don't have a problem with anyone from MLG as long as they're respectable and give respect back. But with most, that's not the case. Forget what all the other idiots say, I think its a great idea. A lot of gamers were always criticised as being nerds and put into a certain category. Now gamers themselves are putting others into certain categories and criticising them based on what they play. We should all just be able to enjoy gaming and have fun. There are always going to be some jackasses out there, but hopefully some people will understand what you are trying to do and change.

Ok. I've been playing since Halo: Combat Evolved. My gameplay changes every time I go into a game. Some times I really don't care what happens and other times some teammate picks up snipe, gets shot at, and jumps off the map or just gives it to them. This makes me angry. I like to have fun but I see all of this really pointless. Oh yeah, I quit Halo because I have very bad anger issues now. I believe it just depends on your mood. p.s. Being drunk was always a plus for me.
