is this guy joking? if the eucalypts are toxic to the fish in the waterways, then why has this ecosystem been around for thousands if not hundreds of thousands of years? It's only when european settlers arrived that native fish stocks have declined because of introduced species like carp and absolutely criminal forms of waterway (mis)management. Any in power that are ignoring the murray problem should be locked up for it. They are pissing on your childrens dinner.
