I think we have to agree to disagree on this one. CCP controls what is viewed in China, it would be difficult to portray the news against CCP's interests. Therefore I would say the media is biased towards CCP. I'm sure many have and have paid the consequences. If there was a free press in China and/or we see the media you see maybe we may agree with each others point of view.

One thing you should know, not all the channels in China are state owned only CCTV,there are tons of free media such as the phoenix which is a hongkong free press and has never been banned. Most Chinese watch that for attaining neutral reports.I live abroad, I and other Chinese don't have the access to CCTV yet we are the ones that stand out and protest media distortion. Why is that? Because our own experience in China shows us that Western reports are strongly biased, even worse than CCTV

Good to see real and mature monks - those who lived long enough to realize the Dalai Lama's tyranny. Dalai left in 1959 (close to 50 years ago), so those young monks (under 50) we saw protesting and claiming no religious freedom didn't know what they were talking about because they hadn't been through the serf system then.
