win rar is just a program like win zip. Download the driver. then open zip or rar and copy/paste all the files in there to your desktop. run the setup for the drivers from the desktop.

I am pissd to I have did everything step by step and when i go to my computer and prop the driver is not installed. Arghhhhh. Should i try it with win rar installed?

LG BANTER

1 Download Drivers LGUSB Drivers.zip

2 Install BitPim

3 Plug in your phone. Open BitPim and DO NOT auto detect your phone.

4 Go to Edit - Settings - Phone Wizard

5 choose All - All and select LG-VX10000 (Voyager) Clock ok.

6 Choose the last COM Port on the list. Click ok.

7 DO NOT detect the phone! Click finish.

8 choose Filesystem

9 Click the + on the side of the folder, the flies should show up.

10 Click dload folder and right click on lg_mysound.dat and save it to your desktop.

11 Now right click the same folder lg_mysound.dat and delete it.

12 Click on Brew - media - lk - ms

13 You should see all the default ringers. Now you can drag and drop your ringers into the ms folder.

Delete the ones you don't want.

14 All done. Exit BitPim and unplug your phone.

15 Turn your phone off then back on. You will see the ringers and they can be used!

No, but to my knowledge I think that the Glimmer was recalled? Not sure though. I still have mine. It wasn't at Wal-Mart, where I got mine, or at the Alltel store.

i have the lg vantage (bell canada version of the lg glimmer) and i did everything and it worked and detected my phone with bitpim under comm6 but afterwards no filesystem icon appeared! HELP!

ok scratch my last comment - i was able to add more songs to bitpim, but now they aren't adding to my phone... when i unplug my phone & turn it off, when i turn it back on the new songs aren't there.... am i doing something wrong??

is there any way to find software like this for a macbook pro? i have tried everything for my glimmer for free ringtones and cant figure it out. this software does not have a mac version, any ideas?

Are you talking about bitpim? There is a mac version just go to bitpim's site and click the bottom link under download.
