Sellotape like that is not that sticky...it's not like they're duct taping the cat. The cat is just freaked out that there's something stuck to its body. You can do the same thing by polarizing a receipt and sticking it to the cat. It's not even attatched to it and the cat will still move awkwardly. They just don't know what to think of having something on their body like that.
