Hi, heres a tip that really works for me; take a piece of paper/paperboard and draw a scale of it, with your ideal weight. The more realistic your scale looks, the better! Write down all of your personal motivations and reasons to reach that ideal weight. I dont use a real scale, but this one motivates me every time and I can already feel my victory :-) hope this helps others as well!

another thing is you don't need to get on a diet routine... like a crash diet or low carb diet. Those diets aren't all that good because they stop you from eating certain foods. Then once you get back to eating them, you go crazy on them because you've been craving them. The goal is to stop eating processed foods and just eat fruits because they are healthy and even if the foods are processed eat less of it and balance it out so that you don't exceed your calorie intake. Hope I said enough, lol
yes, it's true. I've lost more than 20 pounds within 3 months. I was exercising a lot during the time but starting in May I stopped exercising and I'm still loosing more weight, so far 10 pounds more because now my body's metabolism is better. The more I'm positive about loosing weight the better the outcome.
I'm female. What I did different than before is I started eating mostly healthy foods or if it wasn't healthy, I would eat less of it. My goal was to eat only a certain amount of calories a day,which was1200 calories for me. If I ate a whole bag potato chips that added up to about 600 calories that would mean that I would have to eat less for dinner or balance it out with a lot of fruits which don't have much calories anyway. Loosing weight is about burning more than you eat and being confident.
You have to think thin, and the more you think thin the more your life will revolve around thinking thin making it easier for you to understand how to loose the weight. You can eat anything you want but the goal is to eat the right amount of calories everyday in order to loose the weight. If you eat more calories, it'll add up little by little but if you exercise, you loose the calories right away. The skinnier you are the easier is gets to keep weight off. That's why I've been loosing more.
yeah..... give me a break! you don't automatically lose like 15 pounds if not more by letting go of these foods. i see fat vegans all the time.. all vegans dont exercise everyday...

I love your advice. I have to agree with your approach. Funny I just had a discussion with my brother about this same idea of moving from point A to point B. The key is not to worry about the in-between but to relax and know that you are at point B in the Now.
When I started the challenge I had 10 pounds overweight and then I put on my vision board, a slim woman with my photo. After two months I had lost 3 pounds. Then I got sick I had flu and I lost 7 pounds but I ate the same kind of food. I am Mexican we eat a lot of greasy food and chocolate. But When I wake up I say to myseld I love my body and I have a happy and slim body and that's how I feel.
I have a book "French Women Don't get Fat" by Mireille Guilliano. She says some of the same things. That French women don't feel guilty when they eat fattening food, they enjoy it. Guilt, apparently, causes shame, which then needs the comfort of more food...on and on....

thinking thin helps... that's how I got thin... Same with thinking fat. Once I wanted to gain weight and I did by thinking more weight..
