The most fulfilling part of my job is learning and expanding my skills. But, I am very adamant that it has not impacted my salary. I've attained my position and my rate by handling myself properly ten minutes per year in performance reviews and salary negotiations. That is where the money is made. Don't leave thousands of dollars on the table!
