  • @Sarunas841: Yes

  • capri`s are the best looking cars ever , next to the mustang

  • This is the shit! Wonder how much money this dude spends on tires..

  • very nice clean capri and great job with that engine bay. Just a shame about the wheels, I think they rather spoil it.

  • Turbo lag...? what turbo lag?

    Nice car!

  • Looks slightly less rusty than my capri :) but i prefer my pepper pot wheels

  • What is the size of the wheels? Dou you have track plates?

  • at 0:47 it has a kent cams sticker, yet why if it has a standard cam shaft like the description says

  • @LIP15 Kent oilpump on it

  • @Skogenracing

Sweet, very nice capri mate! I have sierra cos and fez turbs

  • @Skogenracing what sort of turbo's to you use

  • @LIP15 check out pedantic on any dictionary

  • hi mate how much did it cost to have that turbo fitted ? i have a 3.0 capri can i get one fitted to that

  • I LOVE THIS CAR!

  • Hang on mate ill go get my engine race built then we'll talk, mine should be good for 700+kw at the wheels,ya cars nice and i love it coz its a ford but if were both built engine then see ya round.

  • Good video I've got a 1979 Mark three Ford Capri 2.0 almost finished it's restoration.

  • Wow, that monster probably needs a new set of rear tyres every week!

  • Now thats a fast pinto!!! Ford Capri's RULE!!!

  • Awesome car and brave cameraman!

  • lovely capri, if it was mine i would definately put some more muscle car like wheels on it though but each to there own... maybe one day ill be able to afford the insurance on one lol!!

  • fucking nicely created video guys that camera working and the split screen very well done, congrats

  • boah, hat der power unterm arsch =)

  • is this the same engine you used in the sapphire on your other video's how much did the complete engine build come to what gearbox are you running with them ive got a 82 MK5 cortina im looking at engine swaps what do you reckon to using this setup for amateur drift competitions ?

  • thats a awesome car, i remember at my capri. it was a 2.0 l MKIII build in 1984 , i have sold it last year .... ford builds dreamcars thanks ford for the capri ^^

  • skogenracing team rules:D..nice cars, i watch other yours videos the are cool too. 2,9 turbo taunis is pretty cool. ford is the best:D

  • if i had something that tits i wouldnt just sit there and beat the livin shit out of it

  • STOCK CAMSHAFT!?!?!?

  • @VitinhoMF

LOL do you not understand how the cams/valves operate? Cos you seem surprised but i dunno why haha

  • I´m surprised because you say its the stock cam! I didnt know it could do that with the stock cam...

  • Yeap. Take the RS turbo for example [differnt engine to this video though]

It's a CVH turbo 1.6L block, and most people who know what they're doing actually favour the standard cam over an aftermarket one such as piper or newman. Although if any cam was to be used, the ones who know will use kent cams [as they ARE the best, and they work the best in the CVH engine]

But yeah, sometimes standard cams are better than the aftermarket ones that are sold claiming 25-30BHP increase...

  • I have a 2.0 Pinto and i have been thinking of getting a Fr30 kent but i´m afraid the car gets undrivable....but i´m going for it anyway..lol Your situation is different...nothing can beat that holset...lol But thats some expensive stuff...

  • Nah kent are good, they'll keep a semi sensible idol without being excessively lumpy and should give a good kick slighly higher up the revs.

This isnt my capri though, i have an RS turbo fiesta and coss

  • I fitted a weber 38 now, having the time of my life with it..lol next is a monstrous exhaust line and than the kent...Of course it wont be like the rs turbo or this beast here...but i´m still young..lolololool

Abyway great job on the Capri, its probably one of the best mk3s i have seen, clean and fast...

  • Do yo have a video of the Fiesta?

  • beast!

  • MEAN!

  • How much HP has this Capri ? o.O

  • this is incredible!!! i can't belive it. i have capri mk3 2000 v6, i want it!!!!

  • Congratulations!!Very very cool!!

    I have a Ford 2.3L turbo...It's my weekend fun ride...kkk..

I have any doubts about my ignition curve...You can help me?

    Thanks!!

  • Jag är 15 år å ska börja renovera mammas gamla capri från -82:D

jag undrar vart man kan köpa delar till capri om det nu går?

    Tack på förhan//Martin

  • lovey car but shit song

  • Hi,

nice video and a very nice car.

Any mods in the crankshaft, rods and pistons?

How much boost for 300hp on wheels ?

  • Wow......my friend in highschool had a 1979 Capri with a 2.8L V6 and a 4 or 5 speed? What year is yours?

  • 74 with mk3 looks

  • I love something that different and nice, and with 'balls' to boot! I'm such a gear head,..... good for you!

  • nice car wot engine is the car cuz i hav a 2.0 pinto capri

  • It´s a 2.0 engine that has been turbocharged

  • hey, how much did you get the turbo charger for? and do you know how much you have roughly spent on the engine, thanks, really nice car :) wish mine was like it, i would swap a Ferrari for this enyday.

  • Haha bilprovningen i bakgrunden :D

  • What driveline are you running?

  • In that version it was stock rear axel and a sierra type 9 gearbox

  • lose the rims

  • Agreed

  • Very nice.

  • very well put together- nice vid, man

  • awesome car mate very nicely done

  • haha awesome

  • Great job m8

what about the differential? is it stock or did you replace it with a LSD?

  • KTzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • how did you get a turbo on it?

    is it a different engine

i want to put a turbo on mine(original engine) but i cant find a manifold that it can fit onto?

  • Made the manifolds myself of course :)

  • so this is original engine? no swap? seriously? you must be a skilled welder

  • It´s a Sierra bottom but standard head that i ported just a little bit

  • if you can actually make your own manifolds i would probably pay you to make one that has a turbo mount on it.

  • I don´t have much time for that.

  • fuckin lush so nice man

  • Amazing capri that thing hauls ass and sounds amazing while doing it, I can only imagine how it would sound with a bigger cam

  • HO...LY...SHIT!!! Fuckin awesome!! I dont know what suspension system you have but looks like it could do with tightening!

  • Very nice video :)

  • that is the best capri ive eva seen

  • bet its not! check out the zakspeed capri :D

  • What a stunner! :D

  • lol by far the best capri iv seen !!! looks like gd fun nice 1

  • How is this car handling compared to a Sierra? ;)

  • leaf spring suspension on the rear!

    How do u think?!

    Tricky in the wet!

  • You should get a locked diff, new cam, sports exhaust, tuning filters and Blistein suspesion before u can say its tricky!

I was woundering about weight, balance, grip, best engine alternatives and so on.... ??!!

  • A light weight alloy engine so its not to heavy up front, the main problem is rear axle location/ tramp etc as only leafs hold it in place!

Panhard rod and controll arms r whats needed or a spring X brace.

Have u seen chop shop where they butcher a capri and make it look shit?

    put a v8 in aswell!

  • Well I saw the engine alternatives on this car, and looks like non of them are proper tuned... a 3.0l with 150hp?? and thats the best alternative..

What kind of V8 is the best then?

I dont usually dont like V8 engines, not american that is! Too high volum, low rpm, big high weight, not much hp ond so on...

  • Dont know to be honest!

I know what u mean about yank engines.

I saw an advert for cosworth racing V8 engines!?

    About £20,000!!!.

v8's from 2000cc to 3000cc I think, with about 400bhp with no turbos!

    Just imagine; a detuned one?

Mind u, those ford 2.5 or 3.2 V6 engines seem good.

  • bodie and doyle would have been proud

  • nice! sounds like a cossie

  • Yeh its goes but bet you cant stop! trust me I have a Capri myself, known for their poor breaks unless you'v fited the 4 pot caliper brakes to um

  • What a car sounds awesome

  • great video nice to see a turbo pinto instead of a cosworth,i normaly hate big alloys but they really suit the capri.well done.

  • early cosworths were basically a pinto block with 16 valve head etc!

I wonder how similar the power outputs r?

  • i would happily trade your new cars of today for the old capri, excellent

  • Epic! nice motor.

  • wow i remember these cars nice work.

  • i want that car it sounds nice

  • Nice motor matey !!!

  • thats its epic rubber burning! Nice work on the Capri. How much did the engine set you back?

  • La classe une voiture comme ça...

  • what engine was it orignally?

  • Sweet capri!

  • nice car and nice video!! well done!!

  • Could you please upload a movie of your awsome car then? :)

  • Great car!!!To big wheels for me.This beast need a good driver!!!

  • nice video nice car amazing motor man but tires are dead :D ( burnout ;)

  • the mundane and the magic

  • what dark tranquillity song is this?

  • thanks a lot i love the car i would love to restor a capri mk3 or mk2 and the song just rocks

  • my dad is gonna buy one and fit in an 800hp v8 engine in it

  • I like those wheels so they will stay :)

  • dude lose the wheels, they look crap on a capri, you have to have dishes of some description! but otherwise it looks awesome! i got a turbotechnics conversion kit for my 2.0 S so ill get some vids posted when its fitted!

  • agreed , needs slammed more too, its still a beast but pimpin aint easy

  • NICE ! Excellent work

  • excelente! nice!!!!!
