aishwarya needs to work on her voice coordination badly. her voice is so not eloquent while madhuri's voice is poetic and rhythmic. Especially after seeing aish in Ravaan (terrible voice with an annoying screech) I must say the gal needs a lesson in voice modulation.

I`ve always noticed aish`s voice sounds way different depending on what language she`s speaking. When she`s speaking english she sounds normal, but when she`s speaking hindi or tamil she sounds....lighter(is that the word i`m looking for?) and slightly more childlike.

There are too many beautiful scenes in this movie. I can't say THIS is my favorite. Or the one where Devdas tells Chandramukhi he loves her. Or when he first meets Chandramukhi. Every scene is awesome! Some make me cry. Some make me think. Some make me laugh. I love this. The dialogues, the acting, the music, the direction. Everything about this movie is beautiful!

This is definitely one of the best scenes in the film because it is a newly developed concept that is a shift from the book...I see that some purists hate the idea of Paro and Chandramukhi meeting, but in my personal opinion. I think Sanjay envisions of this idea turned out welI...Aish and Madz deserve equal credit for this scene, they both gave beautiful dialogue delievery and emoted well...

I see Bhansali has fucked up the characterization in this movie ... he has shown Paro a loser before ChadarMukhi ... Paro who was originally characterized to know the essence of love is seen learning the basics of love from Chandarmukhi ... technically the theme of this scene is wrong. On the other hand, acting is great.
