How To Fit , Change And Replace A Cooker Oven Thermostat,

Thanks for the guide, I have to replace the one in ours. The guy at the service shop says it will cost $200-$300 but I can find plenty on eBay for <$50.

Does anyone know how critical it is to match models? I would think that as long as the temperature range it can handle matches and it physically fits the bezel, that it would be sufficiently compatible.

I have a whirlpool free standing oven that wont stay lit. Model # SF315PEMQ1. I was told that a sensor is out and I need to replace the thermo (thermal?) coupler. How do I find the coupler? Any tips? Thanks
