This is not global warming it is farmers able now with bigger equipment to be able to leavle and drain sections of land at a time. So it hits the river faster instead of sitting in the fields. It is also the county building bigger ditch so the water hits the river faster. Until someone fixes that the cities will keep getting hit with higher floods waters every year.

The city workers have done their job and then some. Nobody in the world did or could have predicted this. Denny had plans in place and we were ready for another '97 if it ever happened again. It hasn't. It's worse. And we're kicking ass anyway, due to our volunteers and our city's excellent planning.
