The memorial day footage looks like a hoax to me. The body of the creature is too small and man-like, the gait and stride is not long enough to be a Sasquatch. Plus, Bigfoot never goes out in the open like that. All reports of Bigfoot are of a creature that hides or is near cover.
However the Freeman footage matches the descriptions other people have made about Bigfoot and so does the Patterson footage. Both clips show very large animals moving unlike humans.

It would choose to lie in the mud so that it wouldn't leave footprints. Now, the obvious objection to this is that it ends up leaving a body-print instead, but this is a bit deceiving. The print wasn't a big mud angel of a Sasquatch, but as you can see in the video, is barely recognizable as a print at all. If the examiners hadn't been experts on anatomy and tracking, they'd never have known. I sure as hell would've missed it.

to where you actually filmed the thing (wait a while for it to get on its
way, if you're afraid) and try to get some measurements of something
that may present some physical size reference; -if you're with someone,
-hand off the camera, and walk over, again, where it was filmed, and film
yourself in the same location for same reasons; -and in both cases, try to
find some footprints (omg!) and film and measure that.

The problem is that Patterson died swearing his footage was real. If there was film somewhere of Patterson admitting the whole thing was a hoax, that film would have had to exist before 1972.. in which case, the entire thing would have been put to rest long before History channel came around in 1995. Clearly, though, this video is still being discussed and studied. All allegations made by those who claim to be involved in a hoax continue to be disputed.

Look at Roger Patterson. He was a well known conman, liar, and hoaxer yet people still believe his fake film...the one he made in '67, that is. He tried faking one in '62 but didn't like the way the suit looked.

It would choose to lie in the mud so that it wouldn't leave footprints. Now, the obvious objection to this is that it ends up leaving a body-print instead, but this is a bit deceiving. The print wasn't a big mud angel of a Sasquatch, but as you can see in the video, is barely recognizable as a print at all. If the examiners hadn't been experts on anatomy and tracking, they'd never have known. I sure as hell would've missed it.
