Oh, I just love the part at 0:53 where they show those split second shots of Tarzan's mom and dad when they're all happy and safe and together. Just that one tiny bit means so much. <3
@nik10hedgehog Sabor was always a leopard in the book so I don't see why they would change it to a panther, but it did look like one, though, didn't it?
Disney Animation Studios is simply amazing, the raw emotions, colours, the process is much more superior to Pixar or any other computer generated feature animation company out there because of the humanity and fluidity each frame has put into it. It's breathtaking!
beautiful animation, and I love how you still get that sense of emotion, movement and drama in such nice clear drawings and storyboard panels.....it blows my mind every time I watch this movie...one can only hope to follow in the footsteps of great artwork like this
I'm expecting my first child and I hope to be half the man Tarzan's father is. What a great character building sequence, we get great insight into these two strangers in an impossible situation and although we never again see them in the movie, we feel for them and their son. Great story choice to make Tarzan look more like his dad. It's like adult Tarzan is his father's age when they arrived at the island, great continuity!! Classic Disney.
If only the latter half the movie was as dramatic and better animated as this segment was (I always thought Jane's design was too silly and could've been done better; supervising animator Ken Duncan should've of made her design look as serious as Tarzan's biological mother's).
i disagree with you, i think the animation was pretty consistent through the whole movie. and Jane´s design was appropriate and had to do with her personality and her part.
well he also did the vocals for the german version. Which is kind of... strage. He may speak german perfectly fluent, but his accent is just... wow XD
but there are uploads for this movie!:) Seek Tarzan movie part 1, and on the same acount there is Tarzan too! I remember how I watched it when I was a little kid at a movie theatre, I missed it soo much that when I found that movie I watched it twice!
Yes, there are. There's Tarzan, Jane and Tarzan, and Tarzan 2. Ya already know Tarzan, Jane and Tarzan are like little mini episodes of like, epilog stuff of Jane and Tazane. It's very cute. Tarzan 2 is featured a lot on the disney channel. It's about his childhood and finding himself I guess. He makes a new friend called the Zugor.
@FMLFYT i thought he ran away but got lost :(

Yes, Disney is wonderful, but just because something is computer generated does NOT mean the feeling is pulled out of it.
