Viewfinder wiring.

Shielded cable is video, shield to outside and center conductor to center pin.

DC power is a pair of unshielded wires, trace to the board or power up the original device and read the B+, should be whatever battery voltage is with the other being negative.

There may be other wires such as a tally light to indicate record, ignore that, just 4 wires get connected.

For the masses: All electronic camera's can see/record IR, they're just filtered out.

The advantage of what you've done is the included IR Lighting in the security camera.

Ebay has IR lights for really cheap and any camera you want to dismantle to remove the filter(which looks like a clear lens) will work

Very, very cool - look similar to my project.

However the illumination in your system looks much better than in mine (I use 6 LEDs only with 3° angle of beam only)

sorry but it is not easy to explain with little words. to unite the wires is easy. the problem is find the pin "+ vcc" "gnd" "signal" of the viewfinder. bye

gnd is easy to find, the cabel is usaly wiered to the viewfinders tube body
