This song always kept a smile face. Oh...the good ol' childhood memories. Wakin' up in the mornin' with my sister and cousin to play DKC2 from day to night. No matter what, we always worked as a team to master this game, and so we have. It was one of the happiest nights of our lives beatin' K. Rool. I'm 19 years old now, and listening to this song takes me back to the happy days of early childhood.  So many memories being brought back. :)

I loved this level for the sole reason of this theme. The best timed transition and the best music in the entire game. It's all relaxed and slow, then you jump in the barrel and turn into Rattle and the transition is timed right when you leave the captains quarters. The best fitting piece of music I have ever heard in a video game. The only thing that comes close to compare is the L4D2 soundtrack, but this is like 5x the quality.

Definitely one of the best game tunes of all time. DKC rocks, Rattle Battle is probably my fave level in the whole game, mainly because of the tune, and that you get to go Rattly!

ahh the good ol Nintendo SNES days (yeas i was a 90's kid so no NES for me :S) this was the better of the trilogy (the first one was good cuase almost every level had ambiant music playing which was a nice change of pace from some other platformer game music, the third game was all around with the music, the interaction with the npcs, the puzzlesm the level difficulties and the boss fights were all pretty interesting) so all in all i say this game was my favorite but thats just my oppinion =]
