This takes MUCH longer now (perhaps an hour more). I think they patched it so your skill doesn't increase while you attack the NPC when they're talking/shortly after talking (or really, grunting/complaining/etc.)

@smurfthenturf I wonder if everyone has killed a chicken in that first village you get to. I did, but it had gone outside of the village itself, so I thought it was wild... then I got a whole village after me. They eventually died because mah boss invincible dude smacked everyone down for me while I healed myself and ran xD
