I'm using an Axiom 25 keyboard, and I can't hear any notes during recording,or playback. I can't hear a thing until I mix it down. Does anyone know why this might be? I've tried changing my preferences a bunch, but that really gets the latency lagging. Any thoughts out there?

I only used the trial version and liked it. I could connect an Oxygen Midi Controller and made a beautiful arrangement in my song. So I am considering to buy it. The only thing that I note is missing is the mixer for all the tracks together .You have to mix selecting one track with the other one but not all the tracks together. Is the only bad thing. But the sound is great and the mastering also.

Try recording in another program if you believe it's due to Mixcraft you're getting low quality. You may be recording wrong or so.

was your gain high enough when you tracked it? You have your channel volume and master volume. Do you see the recorded piece on the meter? If you do, how hot is it. Is your computer volume up high enough?

i use the mixcraft to seperatly add in tracks, so ill record the song, and for the lead guitar parts ill just record a seperate track. when i load my backtrack to mixcraft i record my own guitar to it, but instead of it recording my guitar, it records my guitar AND the backing track. so it sounds very bad. so basically, when i listen to it i can hear the original backingtrack, my guitar sound, and the recorded backing track as well, any ideas on how to make them seperately recorded?

you have to turn "arm" off on the track(s) that you are playing back when you record your guitar part

yes it's easy you just plug in the computer but make sure the track is armed for reccording, just press the arm button

ye its such a good program for so cheap, its easy to figure out aswell, u get a free trial for about 5 days, and then u can buy it for about £30 :) i'd recommend it mate
