Last year was a free pass, but we are seeing the same mistakes over and over again. It is inexcusable. No, we aren't expecting a 2006-2008 defense, but USC should NEVER be ranked 100th in pass defense. It's not the players; it's the coaching. Players deserve better.
@CaliforniasGold Yes Monte is just not cutting it with the Tampa2 defense. Its an old scheme and all of college football has seen how to successfully execute against it and that is why are players are constantly out of position on defense.Dont you agree with me Californias that we should bring in a guy who has a proven track record of great college defenses..Someone like Pete Kwiatkowski from Boise State or Ron Cooper the Defensive Backs coach at LSU just to toss around 2 names. MONTE MUST GO!!

Conceivably I don't think it's that much of a stretch to think USC can win the rest of its games (except maybe Oregon) if there's a sound, steady defensive effort..

1. Andre Heidari - we finally have a very reliable kicker who can end up being the top kicker in the NCAA
2. Robert Woods and Marquis Lee next season.. best WR tandem in College! Plus Prater or whoever will be the slot
3. George Farmer at HB
4. TJ McDonald, Lamar Dawson, Torin Harris I believe will have All-American type of seasons
