I thinking of getting Final Cut Express HD, but that does not include Motion, does it? Can Motion work with iMovie?

no you must get Final Cut Studio in order to work with a motion - but it is worth of it. once you've got Final Cut Studio you don't need to work with iMovie, because you have everything you need :)
