The lifeboats on RMS Queen Elizabeth 2 is exactly like the ones on RMS Titanic. I find that rather fascinating. I love the ship though, I've been travelling with her several times. And I never get tired of it. She's so beautiful.

Is anybody thinking about how we can preserve the most beautiful passenger ship afloat. SS France has gone for scrap. We shouldn't let this happen to QE2. Is there a preservation group? I love this ship.

the Channel leading in/out of the port of Los Angeles is a perfect location for watching ships... especially the classic and special vessels like QE2 and QM2. When QM2 traversed the channel, shes so huge, it almost seems like she takes up the WHOLE channel! lol
