Im all for stopping knife crimes, but i dont like these stupid laws and regulations, it hurts people like me who genuinely have reason for carrying a knife, and i collect knives also, but i wouldnt dare use them on someone, except in the right self defense situation.

my biggest critique with these people, is they dont differentiate between people that genuinely deserve and need knives and the thugs that possess them for ill will.

Well its supposed to be a form of rehabilitation. Showing them people care and that they can have a normal, civil life. The problem is we should be showing these people that they can lead a normal civil life before they commit crime(preferably in thier youth), and reserve the prisons for pure punishment. Because by then they've had a chance to be all they can be. As usual though we have a pure education system and a media which blames all of societys ills on the hobbys of kids.
